The French Seaport; Where ships from different regions or fishing boats dock. A marvelous pier sets right above the shore, where many civilians come to view the green sea.

Crossing the town, swiftly and quietly, smelling new scents, observing new things, secretively without her civilians noticing as she slips through a route which dwellers don't often take. Walking along side the Prince, locking his arm gently with hers; cloaked in secret, with four guards following from behind. Aurora felt afraid, to go out in public again after so many year, closed in her Palace, where her Uncle, warned her of the outside world...and how dangerous and full of evil it was.........But listening to the laughter of the people she heard from afar, the smells of roasted pig smoking out of the houses, and the clinging of cups filled with wine chiming...gave Aurora a new sense of happiness of the outside world, how joyful it was....maybe not so evil at all......It came to her mind, that France was her glorious nation....

Smelling the salt water and fishy nets, full of sea critters, beyond the dock caught her attention. Aurora and the Prince have made it to the pier, The Seaport, where only a few civilians were roaming in the moonlight. The wonder and awe was sublime, Aurora was overwhelmed by the green sea's beauty, along with the moon; both sea and moon, dancing with the breeze; listening to the crashing of the tides calling, what an image of speechless wonder.....Aurora takes off her cloak, letting go of Monsieur Fernando, heading towards the pier alone, feeling the fresh sea breeze soaking into her skin........She closes her eyes for a moment, letting the healthy breeze moisturize her face as it flows gently through the night. The moon, sparkling in her eyes.....and the smallest tear falling out of one eye......she softly turns to the Prince and says....

"....Such an awe I see before me.............. I've spent so long in the Palace, I almost forgot how beautiful the sea was...." She says, almost speechless to even reply.....with a smile as great as the sea.....

Príncipe Fernando el octavo de España

He felt the same way towards the scenery. When he had arrived in France, he didn't expect he’d ever have the chance to enjoy its splendor. Ferdinand could see the moon’s light reflecting off of the water, as well as Aurora. He walked over to join her at the pier. “My father would bring me out by the sea when I was younger. He used to tell me that, the wealth of a country, is not the gold, it is all around us,” said Fernando, looking to the night sky then back to Aurora. Ferdinand cherished more than gold, more than the fine wine that filled the halls, he cherished every grain of sand, every leaf in the trees, every droplet of water, which was the true wealth in his eyes. “Thank you for sharing this moment with me; it has been quite a while since I've had the time as well. France is a beautiful place to be and you are great company. I’m glad to say that, if my future was to be shared, that it be with you,” he said. Ferdinand closed his eyes for a moment, carefully breathing, a gentle breeze blowing through his hair. It brought comfort to Ferdinand, because it was the same sea he looked at when he was in Spain, only from a different point of view. Aurora wasn't in it for the power, she made it clear that it was for the happiness of her people, and that was something he greatly admired from her, aside from her beauty of course, there was much more to her than that.

As Aurora heard the words of wisdom the Prince's father once said, it defined how she viewed the goodness of the world, and how it's surrounded with such richness of God's nature and beauty.....Glancing at Monsieur Fernando, admiring every moment of what the sea brings upon him, Aurora thought to herself, that she maybe was not so different from him......She looks at him, smiling warmly, feeling more comfortable than she felt before.....she softly says,

"........And I thank you Monsieur, for showing me your true kindness..."

Aurora then looks up at the sky, admiring the gigantic moon, feeling she can almost touch it from above...and seeing the stars twinkling from afar. What a sight she has seen, that her worries began to slowly swift away with the waves of the sea....

Príncipe Fernando el octavo de España

Fernando laid back and rested his head on his arms, then remained quiet for a while to enjoy it all in silence, his smile remaining. Eventually, a questioned was thought off. “Aurora? I am curious. When you became queen, what were your thoughts?” he asked. He himself was still only a prince. And though they took similar paths, he wanted to know how she felt when she was crowned queen of France. What could have been on her mind?

As Monsieur Fernando asked her such a question which, to her, was quite hard to answer, she could only remember the feeling of fear and incapability of handling such a great task for the rest of her life....Her mind began to visualize that day, the Coronation....the beginning of her life......the day she became one with France..........Looking down at the Prince, viewing him in his relaxed state...she sighs, then sits down on the dock beside him, leaning towards the edge and touching the foamy sea water on the tips of her hands, feeling the chill cold silk of water petrifying her fingers which soothed her nerves comfortably.....She looks at her reflection, seeing nothing but the girl she once was...she quietly responds...

"...Well......when I became Queen....I knew I had to leave everything behind....my freedom...my fun........never to make one mistake.......But.....what frightened me that day.......was that I felt more "alone" than ever before.........After all, I am the "only" heir alive..........my childhood and happy memories...disappeared when I was crowned....."

Aurora kept looking down at the water....picking up some water and letting it go from the palm of her hands, making her reflection disappear and form again......She began to feel neglected...thinking about why her parents left her so early...the only family, besides her conceited Uncle, she had left.....She then adds to her answer saying...

"But...yet again....it was a sacrifice I had to take...."

“Are you sure you're the only? Did your family ever speak of another?” he asked. Fernando was not going to jump to conclusions, but now that he thought of it, that strange woman he rescued, seemed to look a lot like Aurora. However, if Aurora declined knowledge of a sister possibly existing, he would dismiss that thought. He could tell that, the feeling of loneliness bothered her a lot, and if he could relieve her, it was worth asking.

Aurora paused for a moment....thinking deeper into her thoughts.....Was she alone? she thought to herself. Her skin quivered...for she knew only a shard of something from the past that reappeared in her memories.....She looks, curiously, at Monsieur Fernando, looking puzzled as she then looked into space for a brief moment.......she then replies....

"...Monsieur....it is funny how you ask me that........how strange......I sometimes felt that I was not completely alone....after all......I have the slightest fragment of my memories as a child that I never, ever, completely understood......."

Aurora, still looking into the beyond, begins to share this mysterious memory she has never told anyone, but her parents...who denied such a vision has ever came true......

"There was a time, when I was a small child, where I felt as if something tragic happened to my parents......but I never knew what wounded them so deeply..........All I remember was a group of servants, collecting what happened to be a stack of "my" clothing, and throwing it away............But, the real mystery was.....the crown......this small tiara my mother had in her jeweled chest.......but it was broken......I took a glimpse of it, as I sneaked into her wardrobe.............I remember seeing a letter with the fragments of the silver tiara......the letter ..."M"..................."

She pauses, feeling this tension of mysterious, unexplained answers floating above her head......she then giggles for a moment as she examines Monsieur Fernando, listening profoundly to her mysterious "dream"......She then laughs gently saying....

"But....I think it might of been a dream.......ever since that moment back then, I never saw that tiara again......it is lost......."

“Well, it’s a tiara, meant for a princess, right? Most tend to put the letter of their first name on the tiara. Your name does not start with that letter. You were young, so maybe it could potentially be another letter,” he said. It was a decent start to a mystery, the first letter of a name. Maybe, just maybe, Aurora wasn’t as alone as she originally believed. What about that woman he saw earlier? She looked very much like Aurora; the only difference was that she wasn’t as honest. Could she possibly be the mysterious and unspoken sister? It was possible, he had faith.

Aurora began to wonder about Monsieur Fernando's observation.....but it was too obscured for her to think further more, for many people, even her parents denied such a "fantasy"......Aurora, amused at the Prince's expression of wonder, gives him a sweet smile and says....

"Monsieur.....I assure you.....it was only a dream...........it is not understandable to figure out....these were just words coming out from a small child I once was......nothing more......"

She responded smiling, as if her "fantasies" now turned into a silly observation........Aurora removes her hand from the sea water, beginning to feel the shiver from the breeze on her skin.......She dries her hand on her cloak and looks back at the Prince......she asks him curiously...

"Monsieur.......you are nothing like your brother.........why so?"

She tilts her head slightly, with a curious look in her eyes. She begins to remember the entrance of the Spanish King, feeling his selfish aura for power in the room that day............leaving proudly, with pride and conceit.....

His smile returned when she asked the question, he was trying to think more on the positives. Fernando scratched his head for a moment to figure out what to say. “Well, that's a good question. If you can believe me, Alfonso and I were once the same. We did the same things, never argued, always agreed. However, when he began to realize his skills, he began to grow in pride, forgetting the virtues he once held so highly. And when our father was at his deathbed, he chose Alfonso. I thought that it would make him more responsible, it did not. I pity him, because life's temptations made him forget what really mattered. However, I can say this, I know there's still good in him,” he said, still having faith in his brother.

Aurora's smile calmly grew, as she observed Fernando's expression of hope for his brother. She understood him, and how faith will always find a way...even through the most toughest of individuals.....She realized he was exactly the same as she was; Believing and hoping for the same things.....but for different purposes.....Aurora admired him more....realizing that he is also "human" with royal blood.......She softly reaches her frozen hand in his, giving him a sincere look and speaking softly....

"I believe anyone can change...but they just need to realize that the people closest to them, believe that they are capable of doing so................Don't lose faith in him Monsieur, for I know there are always second chances.."

She told him, showing her sweet smile, and an expression of hope in her eyes....

Aurora and he were not so different. Both were born into responsibilities they couldn't avoid, yet they stayed true to themselves. “You have my word, I will never lose faith.” He waited a moment, his smile wider than usual for a moment. “I have to be honest. Before, I believed that I was the only one who felt this way. I've had my share of meeting others, but it never felt like anything else mattered in the world to them. I'm glad I am not alone, and that you understand me.” It was a wonderful feeling.

They had a very meaningful conversation, he could actually be himself with her. Inside, he felt something growing. And the question arose in his mind, “Am I falling in love?”

Feeling shy, seeing his smile widen and his face, gleaming with the moonlight, she looks down momentarily, continued smiling....not realizing she kept holding his hand, feeling his warmth flowing throughout her body.......something she never felt with Lucian......something Lucian never gave her........all he had given her was his cold heart.......the darkness that would shade her skin, and freeze it, along with her soul..........With Monsieur Fernando, it was something unexplained to her....something she remembers when her parents were still alive..........She then let's go of his warmth and covers herself with her cloak, feeling the sea breeze prickling her skin with its cold winds and misty sea salts.........She then lays back, feeling very comfortable to be in such a position, and observes the sky, staring at the moon......

"What a night.......can this day never end....." She smiles and takes a peek at the Prince.........

“I hope not,” he answered, before laying back down. He turned his head to face her, but did not say a word, he didn't need to. Fernando looked into her eyes, comfortable with simply knowing she was there, his smile never leaving him. Her eyes were so beautiful, it was as if an angel had been looking at him. It was someone like her that made him believe angels were very real.
