This will sadly be my last Standard set ;~;
I am cashing out while the goings good, of course keeping the lands for 3 years to then sell later. but anyways. moving most of my things into vintage and cash.
as for gatecrash... I havn't seen anything really worthwhile. there is that one good mind control card, but it can't beat the hexproof aura deck, and against control deck they are gonna be wrathing the board a lot, or azorias charm it. against midrange decks it might be good in.
as for the rest.... it's poop. don't even bother with the boros card that is selling at 30$ it's not nearly as good as people say it is. its probubly a 15$ card at most. I honestly value it at 10 after the stuff dies down.
only saving grace is that it can "hault" control decks from playing their supreme virdict at their upkeep. so you just need to assume they have supreme virdict. it's weakness is against agro decks and midrange decks. walkers are walkers as always. hopefully they spoil something more awesome

Gonna miss ya Tagg,
As for the set, I don't know what to do, I pretty much built my deck during RTR. Unless I add R to my WG deck, I won't be spending a lot. But I am loving the orzhov cards really on the flavor more than anything. Maybe when Innistrad rotates and my humans and my zombies decks are pretty much gone, I'll work on a WB. Who knows.

played in a couple pre releases 4/0 and 3/1. it was alright. the set is very rare-bomb dependent.
drafted it a couple times as well.
you can have someone on the ropes and then it will be lost to a single bomb rare. which are plentiful in this set.
I am very disappointed in the draft. It is really not too fun. Battalion is one of the best mechanics i have seen in a long time. Boros has a huge advantage in drafts, and everyone was trying to force boros cards. I suggest sitting out on drafting this set.
as for purchasing, i rarely buy singles but for this set i believe you should buy the singles after 1 month onces the cards are cheap.
Orzhov exhort is a good mechanic if they are the 3 costing or less. I feel that exhort, gruul, bloodrush and orzhov are strickly support guilds/abbilities. Don't play those guild decks, but splash for them.
