Home of mellow music, kind employees, many delicious, brewed drinks and sweets to compliment them, the cafe is a popular hangout for the teenagers of Death City.

Skylar "Sky" Senpuu - Witch/Good After all the confusion of the Halloween party at the DWMA, Skylar decided it would be best if she kept from other people. In order to help stop the witch, Marie, Sky had released her Soul Protect. Now, it seemed like the entire school knew of her secret, although they never bothered her. She hoped it would stay that way. She knew, however, that sooner or later, something would be said to her. Her thoughts had turned toward Auron. She had also kept away from him, even though she knew he accepted her for what she was. Did he miss her as much as she missed him? What was the thing that he wanted to tell her? "Sky? Are you zoning again?" A waitress looked at the girl, who had a lost look in her eyes. Sky perked up. "N-no! Not at all!" "Then bring that customer his coffee before it gets cold!" Skylar nodded and walked over to a man who looked particularly impatient. "Sorry for the wait. Here's your coffee!" She smiled as she put the cup on the table. "About time.." The guy muttered. With an embarrassed smile, Sky backed away, then turned to clear off some tables. She had been working at Death Buck's since she arrived at Death City. She had saved money from odd jobs for people around the city, but now she needed a real job. Not having to pay rent was a nice thing, but soon she would need to pay to have the roof fixed, or some other expense toward the cottage. It was an old building, after all. Of course, food was necessary, that was a given. And, now she had expenses because she enrolled in the DWMA. Sky put a few more dishes in the bin, then picked it up and carried it into the kitchen. She went back out, took a few orders from people, then gave the cook the orders. It was a normal day, not too busy, not too slow. Sky made sure to do a little of everything, except cooking and tending the register. She was too nervous about messing up and giving someone the wrong change or charging them incorrectly. Especially when she had so much running through her mind.
{Wasn't sure it is okay to say Sky works there, but if not I will change it}

*~Auron Shineblade/Renaxe Fearoth~* Auron walked into the cafe surprisingly enough Derek wasn't in front. He smiled realizing that when people weren't in danger or if there wasn't a battle to be had Derek would lag behind, but the second things went south Derek would run and leave poor Auron in the dust not thinking anything about it. "He should really learn to wait" He sat down at a table and let out a sigh. "I wonder what Sky's doing right now..." He hadn't seen her in a while and he wasn't sure why, he missed her, though he and Derek had been together a great deal of time that was mostly training. He hadn't told him about Renaxe yet, he had hoped Sky would be around so he could tell them both, but that was proving to be difficult since it seemed she didn't want to see him or he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He wondered on this when Renaxe jarred him from his thoughts 'Hey! Dummy isn't that Sky over there?' Auron was about to tell off Renaxe for his insult, but then he saw that Renaxe was right. He couldn't hold back his joy he bolted up, almost tripped, and knocked over the sugar on the table. "Crap..." He tidied up after himself then waved to get Sky's attention. "HEY SKY WHAT'S UP?!?!" He smiled at her happy to see by mere coincidence that he had found her. He hoped Derek would hurry up now so he could get this over with and just tell his friends about his other half.

Skylar "Sky" Senpuu - Witch/Good Skylar was in the back room and missed Auron's entrance. She brought out an order then disappeared into the kitchen again. She was taking another order when she heard her name being yelled out, rather loudly. Some of the customers chuckled among themselves, others looked annoyed by the disruption of the typical cafe air. She was already blushing when her name was called, but once Sky saw Auron, her face turned a slightly deeper pink. A waitress walked over to Sky and gently took the pad of paper and pen that contained a customer's order of beans on toast. "Looks like you have a fan. Why don't you go see if he's hungry?" The girl nudged an embarrassed Sky toward Auron's table. "Auron? Here? I didn't know..How often does he..Have I really not seen him when I've been here so long?" She smoothed out her skirt and smiled at her friend. "H-Hey, Auron! It's been a while!" She didn't know why, but she felt as shy as she did when she first met him.

*~Auron Shineblade/Renaxe Fearoth~* Auron chuckled slightly "Yeah it has I haven't seen you since the Halloween party catastrophe, what have you been doing? I've been trying to find you, but I always seem to miss you or something. I was starting to think I was cursed." Renaxe sighed 'You are cursed and so am I, we're cursed with each other, and speaking of that don't you want to tell her about me? Cut the crap and get on with it.' Auron ignored Renaxe that could wait until Derek manged to get here. For now he was content talking to Sky about anything else.

Skylar "Sky" Senpuu - Witch/GoodSmiling shyly, Sky hesitated before answering. "Oh, not at all! It's just..I've been busy..and I still don't have a partner..it's been hard finding one, so I gave up my spot at the DWMA so someone else with a partner could learn." It wasn't the entire truth, but it wasn't a lie either. She had been asked by staff if she wouldn't mind giving up her seat until she found a partner. Normally, Sky would just find a match at the school, but being shy like she was, never had the courage to do so. Maybe part of it was because she wished Auron was her partner, and hoped there would be a chance of her being able to wield him. Of course, she was too shy to even ask to try, let alone telling her friend how she felt. It took a moment for Sky to realize she was still working, and went back to waitress mode. "Can I get you something to eat or drink? I can tell you the specials we have, or recommendations."

*~Auron Shineblade/Renaxe Fearoth~* Auron was sad to hear Sky gave up her postion at the school, but he had an idea "Hey what if I helped you find one? I mean I don't have many friends at the academy, but I could help you look for a partner when I'm not training with Derek or in class." He then heard her ask if he wanted something and Auron finally realized that Sky was wearing a uniform and blushed at how he hadn't noticed until just now that she actually worked here. "Oh...um...what do you recomend? I've never actually been here before." He laughed slightly "Sorry idiot I am I didn't realize you were working." Renaxe was growing impatient 'Either ask her when her shift ends so you can look for Derek or I'll try to break free and I will!' Auron sighed he knew Renaxe would do what he said so Auron would just have to bite the bullet and ask. "Hey when does your shift end? I still have to tell you who Renaxe is after all..."

Derek Brook Derek was standing in front of the cafe. He would've entered at the same time Auron did, but suddenly got distracted by a strange feeling that was in the air, and spent the last several minutes trying to pick something up with his soul perception. Eventually, he decided that nothing was going to happen in the immediate area and finally entered the establishment.
Now that he was inside, his signature deadpan expression scanned the room for his partner, but only noticed him after he saw that he was next to another familiar face, Skylar. Derek noticed the girl first because she was standing up, and… wearing a uniform.
"Well this makes things more convenient," the meister said as he approached the two, "it'll be a lot easier to find you now that we know where you work." As usual, there were no hints of mock, friendliness, or really anything in his tone. To the ignorant, it may sound like he was bored already of his own words. He took a seat across from Auron. They had clearly already started a conversation, so Derek waited for more words to be exchanged so he could learn what it was about before he considered joining.

Skylar "Sky" Senpuu - Witch/Good "I'd be happy to recommend something! We have some delicious burgers, with fresh, cut fries. None of that frozen stuff! Or if you're not wanting meat, we have fresh right out of the garden salad." Sky smiled, and when she heard Auron say he didn't realize she was working at the cafe, she covered her mouth with the back of her hand and giggled softly. "My shift ends at 2 o' clock. It's 1:30 now." At the mention of Renaxe, she put her hand down and looked at Auron with a serious look. "I have been wondering. I was going to find you and ask but..I thought that I should stay away.." Skylar hadn't realized that she slipped up, being so curious about this Renaxe person. She hadn't realized that Derek was with them until he spoke. She turned and gave him a small smile. "Fancy seeing you again, Derek. You're just in time. Can I get you something as well?" Sky was a little surprised when Derek said he knew where to find her. Why would he want to find her? She continued to smile, thinking that maybe Derek was starting to consider her as a friend, more or less.

~John Weaver~John entered the cafe. Dropping his head and sitting down. Another partner gone. Two within a little while. His luck was terrible on partners. Pulling out a smooth, sleek, gold coin. Spinning it between his fingers to think on other topics. "Life is like a roller-coaster." Sighing to himself. "Has ups and downs." He didn't want people to talk to him. All he wanted at the moment was to be alone.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ⒺⓁⓃⒾⓍⒹⒶⒺⓁ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Once again Elnixdael found herself roaming the streets of Death city in an attempt to find a peace of mind. She was hungry but she wasn't so hungry that she couldn't control herself as long as no one pushed her. She had sensed a kishin egg nearby at the academy but it would be foolish to go in that direction. To provoke lord death anymore than she would have to surrounded by the congregation of meister and weapons. She just shuddered at the taught of all the senseles sblood she might have to sheed just to escape. While her humanity hated the idea the kishin, as well as other souls, inside of her screamed to be fed the souls of the young meisters and weapons. The kishin egg was the most appealing to her as she'd grown fond of the taste of her own kind. She was omnivorous as she didn't discriminate about the souls she had to eat to maintain her power yet kishin eggs were by far her favorite.
She had to punch herself in the stomach to make the souls screeching in her ears to shut up for a moment as she sniffed the air. She sniffed, sniffed, and sniffed some more. She followed her nose over to a nearby cafe. Not for the smell of actual food but there was a highly unique soul within the establishment. She walked in, spear in hand, thus probably drawing unnecessary attention if her clothing wasn't strange enough. There were too many souls to determine just which one was the soul that led her here while in her self weakened state.
Her soul, however, was one that caused an immediate suffocating feeling in the air to those who could sense it. Yet, she just looked like any other human girl roaming around the building. Strange dress isn't enough to alarm anyone to danger. She was approached by a waitress who checked to see if she wanted anything. She just ordered a glass of green tea with milk and honey. A strange request to most but it was something she enjoyed before her kishin transformation. As she waited she eyeballed Derek first as he was a Meister. That much she could tell. She could sense that auron was a weapon and that made her slightly nervous but only one pair of meister weapon team wasn't enough to threaten her. There was also a weapon sitting off on his lonesome. So far the setting was still to her advantage as the souls scolded her for being so passive. She ignored them as she fingered her spear for the time being. Her eye would occasionally twitch in frustration as she mentally warred with them.

*~Auron Shineblade/Renaxe Fearoth~* Auron listened to Sky's recfomendations he was a little hungry. "I guess I'll have that burger then." He was a bit confused as to why she would think she should stay away, but then Derek walked in which had Renaxe shout 'HEY DEREK IS HERE LET'S GET THIS OVER WITH!' Auron on reflex covered his ears and in a loud whisper. "I can hear you without the shouting Renaxe!" He sighed then looked back to Derek and Sky "Hey what took you so long Derek?" Renaxe sighed 'Fine then...30 minutes won't kill me...If only there was something to kill I'm bored.'

Skylar "Sky" Senpuu - Witch/Good As she wrote down her friends' order, Sky heard Auron talking to Renaxe, however she said nothing about it. "Did you want fries or a drink with that?" Sky took a quick peek at the clock. Only 5 minutes had passed, and she wanted to hear about Renaxe. There was no chance of getting off work early, and since she already had her break, she couldn't ask for another one. Sighing to herself, she waited patiently for Derek to answer her question. Looking at Auron, she asked, whispering, "Should the three of us go some place without people to discuss Renaxe?"

Derek Brook "I'd need to see a menu first," Derek said in answer to Skylar's question, a bit confused as to why she even asked before he had one. After all, how is one expected to to make a decision before knowing every option available?
He then turned to answer Auron. "I thought I sensed something... serious, but it's too far away for me to get a clear reading." He decided to leave out large wave of energy he just now sensed in the same direction. It was so far away that he already knew he wouldn't make it in time to whatever was happening, and he just knew that the other two would needlessly worry anyway.
Just then a new soul entered the establishment, and the sight of it caused Derek to bolt straight up almost immediately after he finished his last sentence. The physical appearance was that of a young girl with big eyes and... unique clothing, but the soul had a huge air of ominous dread and sorrow that sent shivers down the spine of even the normally completely emotionless meister. Being so skilled at soul perception only forced him to take in much more of the terrible feeling it emanated.
Despite that, Derek did not try to fight her run away. In fact, since the sudden jolt, he hadn't moved a single muscle. He just stood there like a statue, staring at her through narrowed eyes. Even though she had a spear in her hand, her stance was not very threatening, and her soul didn't show any malice. Or… did it? Looking more closely, Derek saw that there was in fact a number of small souls inside the giant one that took up nearly half the room.
No, this definitely didn't look good. But still, Derek didn't dare to move an inch until the kishin acted first.

▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ⒺⓁⓃⒾⓍⒹⒶⒺⓁ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Childishly kicking her legs about she had her head down staring at the table. The eyes were a portal to the soul they say so she usually tried to avoid contact for her own safety as well as to not trigger her hunger. The souls around her own started to cackle manically for some reason or another. It wasn't unusual for them to do so between all the horrible sobs and wails of despair. It was better to hear the laughter than the latter but it was never for a good reason.
The souls slowly became more coherent in their mad babbling long enough to tell her she was being watched. How was this any different from normal? Her clothing always warranted someone staring at her for various reasoning. They either thought she was some weird foreigner or thought she was highly attractive. Unfortunately, she couldn't enjoy the the thought of being pretty as she was always reminded she was truly a monster.
Eventually she got annoyed with them screaming 'look' so she finally did and she caught eyes with Derek. He was standing upright and was staring at her with an expression of confusion. It was like he didn't know how to show emotion or he just wasn't sure which one to express. Either way she was far too familiar with his posture. Like a deer caught in headlights he stood there. Why did he look at her that way. Did he find her attractive as well or could he really see her for what she was...
Either way he didn't move nor say a word so she just stared back at him awaiting some form of reaction. After a few moments of their silent staring contest the waitress of hers returned placing her drink before her. She glanced back and forth between Elnixdael and Derek and stepped away swiftly as she felt a similar chill through her body. The Kishin girl felt around for the tea and took a hold of the handle. She kept one hand on her spear as well as her eyes locked on the meister while she slowly sipped. She was out numbered three to one at least and if he knew what she was then they would most certainly try to confront her. The souls were begging and pleading for the meister and the weapons to be eaten.
The wild card was the waitress. She didn't give off the smell of a normal human yet it wasn't that of a meister or weapon. She immediately ruled out witch on principle of there shouldn't be any living within death city from the rumors she heard. Elnixdael would have to watch her the closest of all...
