A nice, quiet place to take walks, play basketball, and just relax in general.

"This is nice." Karisutaru leaned back on one of the branches holding her up in the tree. Since she hadn't been in thecity for very long yet she had decided to take a little time to look around. The park was were she was told to wait when she was done so all that was left now was to wait for her meister, Iorek, to come and find her. Closing her eyes she dangled one of her legs under her, moving it back and forth lazily. Every once in a while she would hum a small tune to pass the time.

Iorek pulled the phones down around his neck and fumbled for the volume. Walking through the gate he found an odd calm in the park that had been hours before in the daylight bristling with activity. His partner, Karisutaru, he had sent ahead of him while he stopped in at a vender for something to drink. He'd said to meet at the park, but even had he not known where she was he'd find her by the scent of her hair that laid heavily on the cool night air. Another deep breath and he was pointed to an older tree with two legs hanging from it's limbs. Seeming to take her by surprise he reached out and lightly grasped her ankle like the pull on an old door chime. "There are several benches about this place, and yet this is the third time I've found you perched up a tree. If you find and fruit while you're up there pitch it down for me."

"Whoa!" Karisutaru quickly caught her balance and moved so she could look down at the man. "I like the height, why sit on the bench when I can get in a tree?" She smiled and stood up on the branch. Looking up she saw a few pieces of fruit and jump up a few branches to get to them. Picking the fruit she threw them down to him and made her way down after them, landing next to him on the ground. "Never takes you long to find me no matter where Im hiding." She brushed the hair from over her blind eye and looked up at him.

~♟♞~Iorek Latvi~♖♙~ Catching as many of the fruit barrage as he could, Iorek was surprised to be taken seriously; he wasn't even sure that this was actually a fruit tree, but was grateful for the snack. He had already taken a bite of first apple before Kari had even landed, and was still chewing away when she found her stance and was looking at him. Smiling at her quip, he shifted the rest of the apples to one arm and reached out for a tuft of her hair with his free hand and pulled it to between their gaze. "Its this tropical scent you bathe with, couldn't miss it. Besides I make it a point to always keep tabs on those I like." He used her hair tips to tickle her nose before letting it fall back into place. With a smirk he turned to the tree trunk and searched for a gap in the roots to sit in. Turning his back to the tree he fell back and slid to the ground, the jolt of his weight caused the tree to shiver, dropping a couple more apples. Looking up at Kari as she stepped up to place her knees against his own bent knees and lean in on him. "If you don't mind my asking...I know its only been a few weeks since you shed that idiot and we've started working together, but what caused you loss of sight in that eye?"

Kari's nose twitched a bit from the hair and she rubbed it to quit the tickling feeling it brought on. She gave a small laugh as well when she felt the ground shake under her when he hit the ground. Moving over to him she sunk down against his knees and folded her arms over them, laying her head down against them.
"Hm?" The question about her eyes caught her off guard but she didnt mind answering it. "I lost it before I met Kiren, while I was still by myself. I had been careless and let myself get knocked out. I fell to the ground and hit a rock, hitting hard enough that my head apparently bounced and then my eye was the next thing to hit. I was found the next day by a nearbye village. My eye color changed due to an infection that went through my eye and changed the pigment color." A sad smile came over her when she thought back to the event.

~♟♞~Iorek Latvi~♖♙~ "Ah now that's why i didn't want to say anything about it." He said reaching out to turn her gaze back to his own and brush the hair blocking the mentioned eye. "Besides it adds to your personality. The color reminds me of the shades the sun would take on through the cover back home." Forming a sharp, flattened blade by gathering some of the mist looming around them and shifting it to a clear ice that looked more like glass. He used it to peel one of his remaining apples and place it it Kari's hand before throwing the ice-blade to the side; it never hit the ground for it melted and turned back to the mist it came from. More so than it seemed it should, the city was calm; calm for a place brimming with teams of witch and kishin hunting students and adults. Meeting Kari had made him decide to enroll at the academy to better his own abilities as her meister, and perhaps better understand himself. But at this moment things were almost surreal, it seemed as if this couldn't possibly be THE place for the best training. "So just what do you want to do tonight? Since it seems we have to place to ourselves for now." He wasn't sure if he had wanted there to be anyone else around, for other than the shops he'd worked for, the barkeep who held his running tab, and Kari here, he didn't know anyone else in the city.

The smile changed from sad to happy quickly enough with his comments. For the longest time she had hated the color of her eyes but Iorek made it seem like such a pretty thing. Kari happily took the apple and moved her position so that she was now sitting with her back to his legs and laying her head back. The warmth she felt from him was always nice, especially in the cool night air.
Thinking about his question she took a breath, "Well we could always go home for the night, but then again you could just as easily show more of the city. You've been here much longer then I have." She tilted her head back far enough to see him as she finished talking. There didnt seem to be much going on around here and she doubted there were any kishin in the city limits.

~♟♞~Iorek Latvi~♖♙~ Iorek smiled remembering how they met, how quickly his world changed just by taking the long way home. She was always pressing against him, saying how his heat was always soothing to her.In fact it seemed that Kari had adjusted quickly to him; she was the only person in Death City that had seen his greater form and not turned to flee. Not even his former employers at the ship yards had seen him as he was, they only knew he had strength enough coming from somewhere. "What I've ventured of the city has only been within a mile of where you first met me. Everyone i know, other than you, is there, and kishins have a habit of slipping into town through the docks. I was their line of defense when an enrolled meister's call went unanswered." Its true that Iorek had been working for the city, but he'd never put any of his earnings aside for a place of his own and for the most part spent his nights outside either under a tree or on the rocks around the shore line. But all that had changed since they'd enrolled together at the academy and was given a dorm together. Its the first place he could call a home in sometime. It was somewhere he could finally be at ease and release his form cloak, which he slept in across three mattresses laid out beside each other in the floor of his room. But no matter where he was he was more at peace outside. Just like he was at that moment with her, his weapon, Kari was his partner now. "I don't mind sitting here with you. Never know what might happen in this city if you wait for it."

............ Disrespect at your own Risk.August Sevven August sat himself down on one of the park benches, his routine walk having come to its routine halfway point. After a content sigh, the teacher took off his top hat and placed it neatly next to him, effectively reserving that seat for no one in particular and also eliminating the faint possibility that someone would actually want to sit there.
When there was nothing else to do, he'd come here to reminisce or mull over current events. It was a nice place to get lost in his thoughts without too much of a disturbance, after all. Today, August was going over the available missions he'd perused earlier in his head. None of these involved witch-hunting, of course, so August hadn't jumped on any of them. Still, it was a welcome distraction from his monotone teaching career. He liked being an important figure what with being a Death Scythe owner and having free access to Shinigami-sama himself, but that still came with performing a day-to-day job. So now the only question was if he was willing to apply himself to a task that might put Suou in danger and didn't involve a witch. They couldn't very well settle for one or two star missions, not with their standing. And one never knew what could happen on the three-star level, uncertain as it was.
At this point, August dug into his coat for his trusty flask. When it proved difficult to find, he broke out of his reverie and continued searching until he realized he'd forgotten it at home. "Hmph. Well then, I suppose I'm done." August stood and placed his hat back up where it belonged (that is, he put it on his head, not in an antique shop).
He'd just have to wait and see what came up as far as missions were concerned. For now, he'd walk around a bit more before heading back. "...And maybe get myself a drink..." he mumbled.

Yukino the Snow-Wielding Samurai Yukino walked into the park, each step delicate and precise, but only because she forced it to be so. As a lady of class, and a teacher at the school, she had to make sure she wasn't caught fumbling around. She checked over her shoulder to make sure Kasai was still there, and finally stopped and sat down on one of the park benches. She crossed her legs elegantly and folded her hands neatly in her lap, casting that icily-soothing gaze up at Kasai as a silent gesture of "please, sit." She gazed around her at the various patrons, smiling a bit to herself as she watched sets of children playing. "Tell me more about yourself Kasai-chan," she began coolly with an absentminded smile. "You hail from Japan, correct? I remember speaking to you in our native tongue." She winked playfully, holding a long, slender finger to her lips as if it was their little secret.

╔════════════════════════════╗ ✠ Kasai Yamakaji ✠ ╚════════════════════════════╝ Profile- Customs - Theme Song : Hills of Radiant Wind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "When the time comes, and the last of your grief is cleansed, a new light will shine... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I'm from japan, as you've correctly pointed. The Yamakaji house has guarded the way of the sword into heart. Mostly, we train aspiring to become samurais, protectors of good. However I was cursed with that form. Ever since I acquired this shape... the one you've seen moments earlier, I've lost my hability to wield a blade, no matter wood or steel. I've never felt so embarrassed and sad. This...cursed thing, took away my dream of becoming a samurai. I tried to fight it for many years until it became unbearable. The elders of our house had sent me here, saying that within this place I would be able to find inner peace and with some luck, I might get my sword back."Explained the girl, saying many years for to her they where many. Briefing her story as how she felt about it. Probably missing minnor details because of her way to tell the tale. However, she stated the origin of the problem and how it evolved gradually over time. It was the very first time she had shared this with anyone. No one actually asked first, nor did she felt comfortable to share it with people wide in the open. But there was something about Yukino. Something within that alluring glance, that despite that icy beauty Kasai was able to find that warmth and comfort she had been looking. As if being along side her she was momentarily at peace. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...When you overcome your pride then your true colors will bleed out of your discipline and determination. And only then your soul will flourish, and your sins forgiven" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (( Ooc: ))

Once again the radiant ex-knight from a far abroad kingdom found himself riddled with boredom. How dull this city could be after all the fable and fame behind it. He expected there to be lots of fighting and conflict for him to satisfy his desires. He had all the freedom and time in the world yet nothing to invest it into. He puffed out a sigh and shook head head causing his armor to clank with each step. By the gods...What i wouldn't give for some excitement right now. I haven't had any since Lady Rowan and Miss Shawna left. I greatly miss Miss Shawna and her spunky nature. She was a joy for sure...and Miss Rowan..." it was at that point he was day dreaming about a nice lovely older woman to hold his interests.
It was as if on cue yet another long haired woman appeared before him. Just like he was granted an audience with the beautiful rowan once again the gods had smiled on him again. This one had glimmering waist length snow white hair, a lovely pale complexion, an ample bosom, and legs to die for. He couldn't help but find himself staring. His experienced eyes for spotting women like her just screamed Mature. He adjusted his gear and made sure his flowing blond mane was impressive like a Lion's should be. With out much warning he made his way over to the two ladies and kneeled before the older one.
"Hail and well met fair maidens." It was only polite to acknowledge both of the women yet it was customary for one to speak to the oldest with utmost respect. "Perhaps you would allow a noble one such as I an audience with you. My name Mi'ladies is Sir Verigan Von Wolfenguard and i am a knight not in name or title, but as well as profession. His alluring bright azure eyes stared straight into Yukino's. Would you grant me the pleasure of knowing your name o' mistress of divine grace."
"Kneel to the radiant lion that roars to the golden sun. Beware the atramentous wolf that bays proudly to the blood moon. With the spirit and pride of these creatures I fight with ferocity you could only fathom!"

Yukino the Snow-Wielding Samurai Yukino regarded Kasai calmly as she listened intently to the poor girl's story. As much as it broke her heart, she knew this to be the cause of her pupil's weapon-related troubles, so it was her job to destroy any doubt the girl had. She patted Kasai's hand gently, smiling at her in a very solemn-but-encouraging way. "You will be welcome here, I assure you. And your weapon form," she added, closing her eyes in concentration as she remembered every detail of the katana, "was the most fantastic weapon I've ever laid my eyes upon."As their conversation was interrupted, she turned her attention to the blonde young man who had addressed her. Not wanting to be rude, as this could very well be a future associate or even student, she smiled kindly and bowed her head in respect. "Konichiwa, Verigan-san," she greeted in her native tongue. "It's nice to meet you. My name is Yukino Kana, a Sword Meister at Shibusen." She held out her hand to him, an expectant look on her face. This was just a test, of course. Had it been anyone else, she wouldn't have expected them to kiss the back of her hand, but if he was really who he said he was, this brand of manners should've been bred into him since childhood. She knew her way around high society, and would immediately dismiss this stranger if he proved that he did not, for the sole purpose that it would mean he'd lied to her.

Strangely enough she had also felt a strong desire from Yukino to possess her. Her soul was still battling against Yukino as to repel her. However as she was just inmature and young, Kasai had misinterpreted as he did before, thinking it was actual desire towards her and not Yukino's desire to master her weapon form. Her heart was starting to speed up it beat as she stared wide eyed at her, however it lasted just a few seconds as soon they were interrupted by a blonde boy who greeted them in some cheesy old fashioned way. Despite that she knew it was about manners as she once had a similar school back home. Yet she was amazed about Yukino's grace upon every single being that crossed her path. She would see how Verigan introduced himself but she had felt ignored almost from the very beginning. As he stated his request something within her poped out. She couldn't tell why but she definitely didn't wanted Verigan near her teacher yet there was little she could do as Yukino had even offered her hand. The tomboy merely frowned as she folded her arms in disapproval as she waited for the cheesy knight to finish up his play. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...When you overcome your pride then your true colors will bleed out of your discipline and determination.
