Princess Elizabeth
Princess Elizabeth walked into her drawing room and started pacing back and forth. Elizabeth did not need a husband and she was not concerned anymore. After all her sister was the one who was overly romantic and cared about love. There was not much good that could come out of it anyways. To prove that she did not care she decided to host a ball. She knew that her father may not be the happiest person in the world knowing that Elizabeth was going to be hosting a ball but it was something that she knew in her gut she had to do. She sat down at the desk and started writing the invitations.

Amelia came walking in to her sister's drawing room. She had been gone for a long time. "Sister I don't know if I am hearing this correctly, you are throwing a ball?" Their father was already not happy with his younger daughter but she had just past his study and he was not to happy about the ball either. She could hear him ranting about the ball, saying something about Elizabeth not giving him a good reason to hold one.

"Yes I am having a ball Amelia. Don't you think that a ball is just a wonderful way to meet people and have keep the relationships that are so important to us with this country. True we are just symbols of Great Britain but don't you want everyone to understand that we are just as important and care just as much about our country as we did before. Don't you agree? Besides father will get over it eventually." Elizabeth said.

"Elizabeth there must be a reason that you are throwing a ball." Amelia sat down in a near by chair. She was the family screw up. She was against the war and she prefered to be by herself couped up in the library reading books. Most of the books though her about romance.

"Amelia don't you ever want to settle down with a husband? How are you suppose to meet anyone when you sit in the library all day? We need to have a ball so that you can meet someone who can take care of you. Dad and I are not going to be around forever. For me, I like being alone and single. You love romance so it's about time you found a husband. This is the end of this discussion. It's decided we are going to throw this ball for you and hopefully you will meet someone and he will eventually become your husband." Elizabeth said. She looked back down at the parchment for a moment and then picked up her quill to start writing.

Amelia was upset because she did not like when people made choices for her. When she had to leave she had no say in that. She was tired of having people tell her what to do. "I am not going and you can't make me." She was only 19 so she figured that she still had some time before she really had to marry. She stormed out of her sisters drawing room and ran towards the throne room thinking that no one was in there.
