I, Taki Inazumautsu, welcome you back to the world of Aincrad. Prepare to face hell in every facet imaginable. Good luck.

With the introduction of the NerveGear, the world of MMORPG's was never the same. It could also be said that after the SAO incident, only worsening after the Alfheim Online scandal. But, with the introduction of the World Seed, the revival of virtual reality was reestablished with unprecedented success. After many versions of Aincrad were formed by former SAO players and enthusiasts, one person in particular wanted to be resubmerged into the world he grew to call his own. Being a genius like Kayaba Akihiko, he borrowed the code after hacking into the Japanese government's research files for the original SAO game. Replicating it, tweaking it and recreating the difficulty of the game, he released the game on an encrypted server accessible by any variation of the NerveGear. Once downloaded to the local memory of the device in use, it is impossible to log out. If you die in the game, the server automatically deletes not only the majority of your memory, but the game itself from your possession. Once dead, it is impossible to be revived (save one exception); and, after sixty seconds whilst on the "you are dead!" screen, your memory will be hacked and destroyed, and your NerveGear device put in a state of critical disrepair.

Due to the fact that this is based after the ALO release, the nine races are implicated due to the availability of magic and flying in game. However, the appearance of your SAO character isn't based off of the race you choose, just the shape of your wings and the magics you excel in. Pick wisely, and good luck in this hellish universe.
