---*Still smiling at inadvertently causing
Kari to jump, he watched her make her place across from him on the counter.
Iorek looked at the pan on the stove, then the plate she had left for him next to the stove, then down to his paws. After a moment of thinking about how to go about doing this, without changing or asking for help, he took in a full breath and blew it out over his end of the counter coating it in a layer of ice. Before moving to the pan
Iorek could see the look of confusion on
Kari's face, causing her to stop mid-chew for a moment. He walked over to the pan and clutched the handle between his jaws and carried it back to place in on the ice-covered-counter. It caused a hiss as it was set, but something like a glint in
Iorek's eye flashed and it stopped sharply. As he was making his way around the counter to sit on his end and start eating, he paused at the side of his bewildered companion to press his snout to her cheek and give her a light lick in approval. Thereafter he promptly began to paw out and devour the contents of pan filled with breakfast.*
---*Making short work of the food as he often did,
Iorek returned the pan to the sink for a soak and removed the ice before laying out across the sitting room floor.*
"How i ever lived off just fish and seals i'll never know. You're a fine weapon and an even better chef, Kari,
and i'm wondering now what other talents someone so unassuming as you might be hiding?" *Seeing an Academy handbook laying on the end table
Iorek swatted at it until it fell down to him and began to skim through it for the fiftieth time.*
"Perhaps today would be best spent at the school. I know they gave me an odd enrollment, and by extension you, for being what i am, but still i would like to know the other meister teams working here in the city. Who knows, maybe there's a mission worth taking?"
