I'm only on page 441 of A Storm of Swords and I can't help but take note of the constant mention of bears... Does this perhaps foreshadow anything? And please, no detailed spoilers! Thank you.

It might not be a relation or anything, but there were mentions of bears in Sam's chapters, Tyrion (bear at the wedding), Jaime, Sansa (if I recall correctly), and Jon.
