So um, since I figured majority of the hype would be on X & Y release in Oct, I was trying to find confirmation about starters in B2W2 (yo, year late on this things cos of nursing school)
Is it true that you can start out with Snivy with Dream World ability Contrary? I kept on looking at different forums to see if there were lies or truths and I couldn't sort it out.
Honestly, it sounds a lil hokey to me and I was wondering if that was just another ballsy rumor or there was some truth without being hax

_As far as I know, it’s not true unless you trade with someone really early on, and then if it was legit the pokémon you receive would have to be an event pokémon because female DW ability starters have never been released. Actually I’m not even 100% positive that DW ability Unova starters have been released, even in Japan.
It is, however, possible to start off with a DW ability Sinnoh starter if you bought B2 or W2 from Wal-Mart recently. They are running a one-time use promo code for those who bought the games between December 6th, 2012, and July 31st, 2013, to get those pokémon.

ohhh gotcha. Thanks for clarifying that! I still think I'll get Snivy, regardless because I love his final form, even though I've never been able to use it proficiently in battles.
