10 years of Gaia. I've been here 9 of those 10 eek . Has it really been that long? In some ways it seems like a long time, and in other ways, not at all!
It's really kind of sad because I think Gaia has been in decline (Not really financially, but more personally). It just doesn't have the luster it used to have. It's exciting to be on websites as they grow, but I think now it's to the point it's just really big. It's like Deviant Art which wasn't quite as big in 2004, but now it's just a pulsating sea of art, and everything gets drowned in it. Or Facebook. I never liked it much to begin with, but when I joined I knew maybe three people with an account. Now even my grandma has an account. Communities grow very large, and while you get better features sometimes, you also lose the close-knit quality. That seems to be the way of things.
But, I will always have memories. biggrin Ye olde days of the Internet!
Oh, side note! What's fun is if you click the Gaia online logo on the header, it takes you to a site that looks like Go-Gaia! At the bottom is a hamster. Click on him and get an item.

Oh, the good old days...
But if you hang out within guilds, it's almost like Gaia hasn't changed at all these past ten years! xp

If we revive the guild, can we filter who we let in? Or is that horribly snobby? xp

No, I don't think it's snobby We're technically the cranky, old senior citizens of Gaia. It's almost expected of us wink
It would be nice if we could organize some type of regular get together to catch up. It's just our varying time zones, lives, schedules etc has us all on different frequencies, it seems.
