Afeida Taleth
I will not follow your ways
I will not do as you please
Following my path is what I'll do
The path of a warrior is what I choose

Afeida hated this. It was that time of the month where the soldiers in training had the chance to rest and gather up their energy, visit their families, relax, or do whatever they pleased for 3 whole days. And they were not allowed to remain inside the training camp, so they were basically kicked out of that place. The hell were they kicked out anyways. Isn't it good that some soldiers were eager enough to actually continue their training to become better soldiers even on their days off? Stupid people thinking they knew better what people want.
The celestial elf frowned as she kept cursing in her head at the stupidity of the higher ups. She looked around the breathtaking nature and finally came at halt, dismounting her horse as she finally set foot on the soft green yet wet grass. She breathed in the fresh air, closing her eyes and feeling the wind kiss her skin. She listened to the river's water running down it's path, at the birds singing their lovely song, the trees dancing along with the wind and the fishes splashing outside the water to gasp for air. It was such a calming and warm place where nature was at its finest... Perfect for her to concentrate solely on her training.
She finally reopened her white orbs and looked at her only companion, which she slowly petted on the nose and finally tied her on one of the trees nearby. She untied her sword which had been hanging on one of the sides of the saddle, and unwrapped it from the brown cloth, revealing a black scabbard covered in golden ornaments. She quickly withdrew her the sharp object out of it's cover, the scabbard thrown on the ground and forgotten, as she eyes the sharp metal, which had had only the joy of slashing wooden puppets. With the sword on her hands, she took of her shoes, leaving them next to the beautifully worked scabbard and walked close to the rowdy river. With a deep breath she put one of her bare feet inside the water, letting the coldness cool her body, and soon the other foot followed the first. The tips of her dress were completely wet now, but little did she care. She kept walking forward and as soon as she felt she was far enough into the river she stopped. The water reached till the middle of her calf. It was a bit difficult to keep her balance, as the current was a bit strong, but that's what she had come here for. She took her stance, one leg up and bent, her left arm facing straight as the other was brought to her head, the sword standing parallel with her left. With the rushing water, and the annoying dress, this could prove quite a challenge for the female warrior. With a roar she charged in and attacked as if an enemy was threatening her life. And so her little training began.
