Looking to the sky Amaltheia studied the burning flame at it's highest point. She was grateful for it's warmth and the shadows that it created. More of her 'friends' meant she could be guided to somebody's side. She looked back on her past meetings, some had been a random occurrence and others she had been taken to by the very shadows that plastered the terrain beneath the trees at this very moment. Deciding to take the opportunity the cerynei mare first looked to either of her sides to see if anyone was watching.

It was something that not everyone in the herd felt comfortable with;her talking with the shadows. Different was scary and she understood that and so, she made sure to consider their feelings and do it out of their sight and ear-shot. With a smile at the space she had, she wandered forward to one of the shadows that was lazily swaying under a tree at the forest border.

"Where should I go today?" She asked, although it was more like wondering out loud. She waited a moment, the shadow twisting in to a jagged state before sweeping off in to confident direction. She followed the direction with her eyes and taking it's advice moved in to the forest once more to follow the given path.
