 This is the home of the Goddess Nyx and her consort, the God Erebus. Let it be known among any of their allies that its doors will always be open for those seeking shelter, and let it be known to those seeking the grace of these gods, that they can always contact them here.
But let it also be known that any enemy that dares trespass here, will suffer their rightful fate, and the wrath of the gods.

 "You say you walk in the night and live in the shadows... Nyx & Erebus Enter Nyx and Erebus with Kali, from New York CityThe shadow portal opened in the main living area of the gods' home, and Nyx stepped out first, going to a large futon nearby and laying Kali down gently. As Erebus came through, she asked him to ready one of the guest rooms. He did so, and then Nyx carried their guest to the room and laid her in the bed. She wasn't entirely sure what was happening to her fellow goddess, but she could only assume it was a drawback on one of her powers. In any case, Nyx would do her best to make sure she was comfortable. She left a note on the bedside table telling Kali to just say Nyx's name when she woke, and she would know. The note also gave instructions on how to summon things she might need. When they made the house, Erebus had put up a series of small portals that could be opened and close with a word. They were only powerful enough to send a message or small items, but they connected all of the rooms, the kitchen, and other main living areas. Neither god could teleport objects, but Erebus's portal accomplished the next best thing. ...we rule the night and are the shadows."

Child FormKali  -Goddess of Time and Death- Kali slept soundly not noticing that she had been taken somewhere far from home. At the moment there was nothing that could wake her, at least not until Set returned with Yoko. Had she interfered with it directly she would have actually harmed herself. By now maybe every god and goddess may have noticed what her true power was even though she had kept it hidden from most people for a very long time. She started stirring a bit when she had a vision of Yoko back in New York.

Out from the shadow of a tree, a large figure rose and took form as Thanatos, God of Death. He took a deep breath, sighing as he gazed upon the manor of Nyx and Erebus, his parents. How many years had it been since he'd spoken with them? Far too long to remember. The mere thought of coming here had him unnerved but Thanatos felt he should attempt some kind of relationship with his parents who brought him into this world. One would think the god of death would be far too busy but the reapers handled many of the task he no longer had to do himself. Now if only he could get them to be a little more organized... Having stalled long enough, Thanatos seemingly shifted along toward the front door, his feet obscured by his long black robes. His only visible eye scanned the entrance, unsure how he was supposed to knock on such a large door. Nevertheless, he did so anyway, though he didn't expect any response. ...It's already such a melancholy end... ♦▬OOC:▬♦

Nyx & Erebus Enter Nyx and Erebus with Kali, from New York CityNeither god had noticed Kali begin to stir, as both were in other parts of the house, but they did notice the knock at the door. Nyx was closest and answered it first, but Erebus was not far behind. The look on their faces was a mix of shock and pleasure, and Nyx stepped forward to embrace her son. It had been years since she had seen any of her children, but she still loved each and every one of them. "Thanatos. You've come home!" she said happily, stepping back to look at him. "Please, come inside. We have one other guest at the moment, but she is sleeping, I'm sure you can meet her later." She stepped aside and led Thanatos to the main living room, and pulled wine in from the kitchen, setting the bottle and glasses on the table. "What brings you here, my son?" she asked, as Erebus greeted Thanatos with a somewhat more manly embrace, gripping his forearm. ...we rule the night and are the shadows."

Even more so, both of his parents were at the door, their shocked expressions and his mother's embrace made him smile a bit embarrassed. His smile was of course hidden by his cloak, as was most of his face. Entering, Thanatos looked around finding a few things about to be familiar. "A guest?...I don't mean to impose..." he spoke faintly. How he would have called earlier if he could, though it might've been more difficult. At his father's greeting, he nodded, glad to see them both again as well. "Nothing urgent...just a visit." Afterall, he wasn't busy so it seemed like a good idea. ...It's already such a melancholy end... ♦▬OOC:▬♦

Thanatos had been her first child after having the girls with Erebus, and of course, a mother always had a special place for her first-born. "Indeed. It is good to see you Thanatos. Of course, you are welcome to stay as long as you wish, and I know we have much to catch up on, your duties have kept you away so long. We were worried about you when this new war started up in the Middle East, I'm glad you have help now."She poured the wine, and placed the bottle in a nearby ice bucket. Erebus sat next to Nyx on the couch, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "We have been keeping an eye on all of you, when we could. Even if we were out of contact, we wanted to help if we knew you or your siblings needed it," said the god, with a somewhat sheepish half-smile at his son. ...we rule the night and are the shadows."

He hadn't realized his parents had missed so otherwise he would have made more of an effort to contact them. How horrible of a son he has been... "I see...All is well though, the reapers handle the more daunting task of collecting the souls. Still...keeping the system together can be quite taxing" he explained. "...Though it isn't beyond my capabilities" he added, not wanting to worry them. Their watchful eyes were welcomed as they were only concerned over his well being. Just like any parent would be. "I see...thank you, I appreciate it" he nodded. There was a momentary pause before Thanatos thought to ask. "Have...any of the others contacted you?" It wasn't just his parents he wasn't close with but even his siblings. ...It's already such a melancholy end... ♦▬OOC:▬♦

"No, I'm afraid we've been a bit distant the past while, though, your siblings haven't exactly been pounding at the doors either. Still, seeing even one of our children is a good day. Child FormKali -Goddess of Time and Death- Kali opened her eyes realizing she was somewhere unfamiliar. She sat up in bed trying to get familiar with her surroundings. She clutched her aching head, a remider of her transgressions. "So I'm awake already? But then where are they? More importantly where am I?" she asked as she swung her legs over the side of the bed. She looked at the bed side table and noticed a note with some instructions. "Nyx? Who was that again?" she though aloud. "Well, I'll find out if I say the name right? Nyx, I'm awake, at least I dont think this is a dream anymore..."

~Set~Egyptian God of Chaos~ Set drove up on his bike. Getting off he began to look for Kali. When he spotted her he ran up and hugged. "I thought you were taken." He kissed Kali's cheek and looked down. "I... I failed. Yoko didn't return with me." He looked to Nyx and Erebus. "Thank you." He smiled as he stroked Kali's hair.

Child FormKali -Goddess of Time and Death- Kali looked at Set understanding. "Its alright, you got her home or somewhere close enough, or else I'd still be asleep." Kali was a little sad but it couldnt be helped. If Yoko didn't want to be around them then she couldnt be forced. She gave Set a smile before wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her lips to his. She pulled back and apologized, "I'm sorry for causing so much trouble. I probably shouldnt do that again," she said referring to changing events on a timeline by giving out information.

~Set~Egyptian God of Chaos~Set kissed her back. "As long as you are okay." He held her close. He wouldn't leave her side. She was his center now. "You are truly amazing." Picking her up slightly he kissed her again. He could care less what Nyx thought. "Maybe we should get a real place? Of our own.'' He smiled and held her close to him. 'MAYBE... a kid?"
