Welcome!Welcome to the Interest Thread of the Silver Glade Herd. This is a herd for Arion and Arion cross stars. Yes, for those that have read the 'Game of Thrones' books might know most of these terms being used. I am currently reading these books and found these ranks as interesting and different from other herds. ^^ Herd Name: Silver Glade Species Allowed: Arion/Arion Cross Location: A mist shrouded Forest of silver trees and Fae lights  Artist is HereRules:FAQWhy only Arion/Arion Crosses? Because they live 'in' the trees and a larger horse can't fit.

Ranks
Sovereigns
These are the herd leaders, the ones that have say in disputes and give justice when its needed.
Prince(ss)
Children of the sovereigns.
Hand of the King
Kind of a stand in when the royals have stepped out.
(Male Persona only please.)
Queen's Lady
Same kind of thing as Hand of the King, only this will be a fill in for the Queen.
(Mares Only please)
Septa
This rank would also be considered a 'nanny'. Septas look after the children, royal or common born.
(Both genders can apply, but commonly held by females)
Maester
These are the healers, with the knowing of herbs and healing ways be it with a uni's horn or not.
(Both genders can apply for this.)
King's Guard
As the name suggests, they guard the king and are seen more 'in court' then other knights.
(Both Genders accepted)
Knights
The defenders of the herd, they range the boarders and keep the peace. Those of this rank don't shy away from a cry of help be it a herd member or stranger.
(Knights are commonly males, but both are allowed)
Common Born
These are the stars that find they don't want a higher rank then just 'general Member'.
Nothing wrong with it, I have a couple in this rank. ^^

Just a question, what do they do with foals/teens that wouldn't hold enough Arion magic to stay small for long and require breaks in between?
Would they have a clearing well secluded in amongst all the tree's?
Also is this assuming the Arion would be keeping a small size at all times possible? I don't think realistically their magic would hold when they slept. :3

The whole area in the trees is where they live at whatever size they want. ^^ The trees themselves are mostly hiding places or if someone wanted to stay that small for long periods of time could.

I have both Moira and Bekah who are unherded, I would be interested in putting one or both of them in here. heart
I'll be much more active on Moira I think, as her personality is telling me it wants development xd I'd want to make er a Maester, and Bekah would make a good Septa.
Erm, as far as ideas go, seems like it's pretty well taken care of smile I like the concepts and structure that you guys have so far.
