 Ankh set his bag down on the ground and stretched, walking over to the sofa he just flopped down on it, straightened himself up and went to sleep, it had been a light flight back from Egypt and he didn't want to bother about going home, he would just sleep here for a couple of hours or so before he went home to see his mate and sons.

 Tallas had spent the past few days sorting out the shops front and back gardens. It had been a mammoth of a task as it appeared as though no one had done anything with it for quite some time now, but he was never one to walk away from a challenge. Over the course of the three days, the bunny had swept the leaves from both gardens (twice, because the wind kept blowing them back), he'd picked up the litter, pruned the hedges and trees so that when they did start to bloom in spring they wouldn't be all over the place and today he'd tackled the front lawn. Ugh. Mowed, trimmed and even sown grass seeds in the patchier areas, the bunny was not only exhausted, but also covered in grass and dirt. Before entering the store, Tallas removed his boots and left them outside, not wanting to tread dirt into the carpets and create more work for himself. Upon entering the store, however, he caught sight of a familiar body on the sofa. Knowing his mate was due back from Egypt today, the bunny decided to let him sleep off the jet lag and instead of waking him, placed a soft, grassy kiss on the mer's head, before heading to the nearest bathroom.

Ankh stirred in his sleep and smiled a little at the kiss but didn't wake up, he carried on sleeping, deciding to get as much in as he could before his sons bombarded whim with questions about Egypt and gifts and the food and culture and gifts and...well...gifts.
*Fast forwards two and a half hours*
Ankh rose a couple of hours or so later and stretched, yawned and then walked over to the tank, undressed and climbed in and dived under, not really taking much notice of anyone or anything else, he just dived in and sank straight to the bottom and laid there, looking at the side of the tank, pleased to finally be able to be in the water. However, that didn't last long, he ended up climbing out, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around himself and walked out to the kitchen, still in a bit of a daze before looking around and wondered where his mate was, he was certain he would of been here tending the gardens.
"Oh well" he said as he walked to the fridge and took out a can of coke and shut the fridge before sitting down at the table and just relaxed, wondering what his mate and sons got up to whilst he was away.

Tallas had a nice long shower, washing away the muck from his toiling and warming him up from head to toe. It was always nice to have an indoor shower, he'd spent most of his life washing in lakes and streams, but all that was about to change. Over the past year or so, the bunny had been hard at work, making something special out in the woods he called home.
As time passed, he was washed, dressed and back outside in the garden. This time however, he had a notebook in hand and was taking note of the flora that was already in the earth. This year he was going to make the gardens look spectacular and try to get more anthro involved and interested, it was everyone's shop after all.
After his last look around in the back garden to make sure he hadn't missed anything, Tallas slipped the notebook back into his left breast pocket and decided to head back inside, it was getting cold and he'd worked up an appetite. Though his stomach would have to wait, that familiar body had moved from the sofa and was now sat at the kitchen table.
"Ah, sleeping beauty has awoken." He said with a grin, pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose as he approached the table.

Ankh finished taking a sip of coke before swallowing and looking up and over at his mate and smiled back at him "and I see my Gardener isn't all covered in mud " he said as he got up, leaving his coke and walked over and wrapped his arms around his mate "oh how I have missed you" he said as he nuzzled him "I am not cooking tonight, I am taking you and the boys out, give us a good catch up. Then, when I have finished spoiling you all and telling you about Egypt I will take you all home and let the boys sleep over if they wish whilst I privately spoil you myself" he purred as he placed his lips against the others and passionately kissed him.

"No, I made the effort to make sure I was clean for when you woke up." Tallas said, wrapping his arms around his mate and planting another soft kiss upon his forehead. "It will be nice for us all to spend some time together, it seems forever since we last had the chance." The bunny always enjoyed hearing about his trips to Egypt and their boys loved the gifts brought back. "That does all sound lovely.." He was cut off by the kiss, returning it with as much gusto as it was being given - it did feel like forever since he'd last seen his mate after all. "But we aren't going home tonight." He spoke softly, lips brushing across his mates as he spoke. "There's something I've been keeping from you for a very long time and tonight.. I want to finally show you."

"Sweetheart, why tonight?" He asked curiously "I want to see this, I am dead curious to see this, but do I really have to see your other boyfriend tonight? I am not really up to having a threesome tonight and yes, I have known about it for months, our sons have big mouths, you are not a very good hider" He joked, nuzzling the other "seriously though I will love to see it tonight, sleeping off my jet lag can wait, we will have family fun tonight and then we will come and see what you have been keeping from me." The ancient mer said as he played with the rabbits ear "then how bout this? We all go to the restaurant for dinner, we talk, we eat, I give out gifts and then we all come back and see this secret of yours? That is if our boys are allowed to also join us that is" he said, not wishing to invite them if it was meant to be something privet for the two of them.

"My other boyfriend?" The bunny chuckled at his mates joke. "Do you really think I'd ever find anyone else willing to put up with grass stains on the bed sheets?" He said, gently squeezing his arms around Ankh's waist. "You can still sleep off your jet lag, I'm not going to stop you from your beauty sleep." As the mer played with his ear, it slowly drooped closer to the touch and his cheeks, as usual when his ears were played with, gained a soft pink hue. "The boys are more than welcome to join us, this is something for them just as much as it is us." Though Atlas already knew what it was, he had been helping his father with it, of course. ((Sorry I can't post more frequently, I have to work and I seem to have missed everyone when I get back xD ))

((Thats alright, I know work comes first, shouldn't, Gaia is far more important then that silly thing but bills have to be paid and all of that, unlike Gaia, we can't walk out the door and get 10 cents and then walk to the mail box and get 10 more etc so we have to do it the old fashioned way. XD )) "I don't know, you are rather cute, I am sure someone would put up with them like I have, I do love you after all and not the grass stains so if I can then surely someone else can also" he said as he nuzzled the rabbits ear "well, that is what I want to say but admittedly, your ears are just too soft to not love, you realize you are only mated to me because I am actually in love with your ears right?" He said jokingly, still feeling a little tired due to his trip so soft ears equal pillows to him right now. "And no, I have far more important things to do, like get us home, unpack, sort out gifts and other goodies and then before the boys come home I want you all to myself" he said as he kissed the rabbits neck a little "that I don't want them interrupting" he said kissing it once more before looking back at him "Well then, if it is for all of us then tonight we get a dinner and a show, this will be fun! Shall we go home? You and I can get reacquainted with each other after all this time between me putting gifts to one side and washing to another, I think I could fit in a few...fun things" he said smirking at his mate "and yes, make a reservation and call our sons as well if they are not home but still, I want to be selfish and have you all to myself first." The mer said as he wrapped his arms around his mate a little more also, not wanting to let him go but something told him, getting into the car would be rather hard and thats without the fact that driving would be hard also "and also, I am pleased you are mine and not someone elses, I love you too much to let you just run off with someone else though, after all this time, I am amazed you haven't" he said, knowing that he had to make it up to him some way and tonight, over dinner, hopefully he would be able to.

((Yeah, I'd love to stop at home and sit on Gaia all day but in all honesty, I'd probably get bored of it pretty quickly xD When does that breeding thing end anyway? )) "Perhaps, but who's to say I want someone else putting up with my grass stains? Finding someone else would mean that I wasn't happy with the someone I was with, wouldn't it?" His mates love of his ears had always amused him, yes they were soft to the touch, but their main purpose was to allow him to hear just like everyone elses ears. The fact that they were blue and lop eared was a bit strange he supposed, though he was part bunny. "You don't need to unpack straight away and we aren't in a rush to get home, are we?" Sighing softly at the attention to his neck, Tallas cocked his head to look down to his mate, exposing more of his neck as he did so. "Then we'll have to make sure we lock the door." Dinner and a show sounded good, but it also meant he'd have to make an effort with his appearance. No dirt on his face and appropriate clothing for where they were going, the things he wore for gardening simply wouldn't do. "Yes, let's go home, I'm looking forward to spending alone time with you again." Kissing Ankh's forehead once more, he released his arms from around the male and instead took one of the mers hands in his own. "Run off with someone else?" The bunny chuckled and looked to him. "I'm not going to run off with someone else just because we don't see each other every minute of every day." He gave the mers hand a gentle squeeze. "You love visiting Egypt and I love taking care of the woods, they are two very different worlds and I love spending time with you, but I think it's nice that we both have our own interests too."

((I posted the form, it says completed RP but meh. And fair point, you would, I am between jobs right now and even I find it boring but I fill in time with a nap and an MMO so... XD)) "You do bring up a rather good point, it would mean you were not happy with the one you are with" he said as he was dragged off happily by his mate "and no, we are not in a rush to get home but if we want to get ready I think home would be a good place to go considering, we would need to get ready and I can't really do what I want to do in the clothes I am in so a shower would be nice" he said, deciding to say nothing else and nodded "and yes, locking door is good, lets just hope our sons don't bother us, even with us telling them to go away I think would traumatize them" he said as he chuckled a little "and I know you wouldn't but I was gone for years not just a few weeks. I know we are allowed our own interests just that I promised last time I would take you but instead I go and I end up spending years over in Egypt, it wasn't fair on you to wait so long for me, it must have been horrible for me, I'm sorry my darling" he said sincerely as he lifted up the rabbits hand and kissed it.

((Like anyone's able to complete a roleplay in a couple of days xD MMO's are fun, think I'll stick to Warcraft and Suikoden though =) )) "You're right, we need time to change and you need to freshen up." Tallas said leading them to the car, ears bobbing up and down as he walked. "Don't worry, there will be plenty to keep them occupied while we reaquiant with one another. I didn't finish it all, I figured I'd leave some for everyone else to add their own touches to it." It had been tough being without a mate for those years, but Tallas had survived and knew deep down that he would return one day. "You've nothing to be sorry for." The bunny said, linking his fingers with Ankh's now. "I knew you'd come back and here you are."

((LOL fair point, though, we could of just had them meet up and then sent them to the back room for unmentionable pg13 stuffs, what a welcome home that would be. XD I want a Suikoden MMO! That game has over 100 characters so it would work! Though I must admit, getting the runes and making a story for each would be a little more difficult to construct considering, especially if they made it where only one rune could be used by one person at any given time, like the FF11 game ended up like, THAT would be annoying. )) "Hang on, wait!" He said as he ran back into the shop and grabbed his bag, he wasn't wanting to leave that behind, his mother would kill him...if there was a way to kill him that is "ready" he said as he climbed into the car "and yes, freshen up would be nice, though may I suggest you have your shower first? I might end up being a little longer then you, I think I might have a bubble bath or something and just relax for an hour, after talking to you and all that is" he said as he hoped his other bags arrived home safely, he sometimes didn't trust that dragon and driving. "And now you are making me curious more so, stop that!" He said grinning at his mate "you know that is a bad thing to do to me!' Hes said as he softly sighed "I have the worlds greatest mate, you know that don't you?" He said, always willing and wanting to return to the rabbit, true there had been some hansom guys over there, even some 'new gen' mers that had started to open shops and what not but he had his rabbit and sons back home, he couldn't just forget about them and besides, who would want an 800 year old mer? He was still sometimes amazed the rabbit did.
