Tryggr: [Hollers as he spots his friend Duff]
8D!
8D!

Duff's head jerked up at the sound of someone familiar - so far Blake and Marnie were the only ones to keep in touch with her so the sound of a familiar voice other than theirs was quite a shock, though a welcomed one. She spotted the spotted striped soq instantly and offered a warm and friendly smile. "Why Hello there!"

Tryggr: [Picks up his pace as he climbs the small hill, until he is only a few feet from the other, his small lungs panting for a moment]
Phew, I'm glad you could hear me! And that it really was you, haha! I had to guess from were I was. n,n

Duff chuckled and patted the foal on the back wit the flat of her spaded tail. "To be honest I wasnt quite expecting to speak with you again, so at the sound of a familiar voice I had to look." She chuckled and smiled at the black eyed foal. "I must say though that I am quite glad that I did. Though....." She paused and looked down her back at her pelt in the sunlight then back to the foal. "I must say that I do not see how one would need to guess if it was me - in this light, and with these features and colors, I tend to stand out...."

Tryggr: [Gives a boyish grin in reply to her patted greeting.] "Really? Why's that...you didn't plan on running away without saying bye, didja?" D'8 He then glanced back at her stripes, then her face, then back at her stripes. Well, how was he supposed to know there weren't others with her colors? Sheesh, he was only a few days old after all. Tryggr laughed with a shrug, not at all bothered by it. "Ya neeever know, gotta be careful talking to strangers! You know, all that fun stuff." u,u

Duff shrugged and gave a half hearted smirk. "I dont usually come across those that I speak with very often, if ever. With there being so many in the world and everyone having their own things to do it's hit or miss in interactions with others....." She dropped her head a little, her ears pinning back. "And for the most part it's miss. I just hadnt expected to cross paths once more." She raised her head once more and listened, blinking for a moment dumbfounded, before laughing. "Oh it has been quite some time.... You would be correct. I had not taken that into consideration. I havent had to in so long. Being wary of strangers is a good thing... Not quite sure it worked though." She added with a smirk.
Nyhility
Tryggr: [Blinks and leans his head curiously.] Wait now...do I literally have to hit you to interact? I mean, cause I don't have a tail like you to do that. And I'm sure hooves and horns would make it ouchy." He'd never heard of having 'hit or miss' options, so he figured he'd better learn about it now. But then he paused, and leapt back in sudden surprise. "Wait a minute, what do ya mean didn't work? You're a good stranger though, right?" Had he guessed wrong about her, and she was now telling him he'd done wrong talking to strangers? D8;
Thamin
"Oh no!" Duff answered, shaking her head with her response. "It is simply a phrase. 'Hit or miss' is typically used to describe situations where situations or beings may be good or bad or things may or may not happen unpredictably. It's all Chance really." She paused to see if he understood, but instead raised her brows in shock herself. Had she said something wrong to the foal to alarm him so? "I simply meant that not talking to strangers didnt work because you had talked to me!" She attempted to explain after the question had been stated. "To be honest, life is all about talking to strangers.... one just has to be careful of those they speak to. Parents try to impose onto their children that speaking with 'strangers' is bad... But how else is one to make a friend?" She had begun to ramble, a fault of hers when she contemplated something a little toooooo much.
Nyhility
Tryggr: "Really now? How about we just chance it with the good things? Shouldn't be that hard to do." It made the boy wonder why adult life had to be so difficult. And just thinking that he'd grow up to be one too nearly made his head spin. With his legs still locked, Tryggr flicked his tail as he waited for Duff's explanation on strangers. "Yeahhhh, but that's because mom and dad weren't looking. Shhh!" 8x "Then I guess I just got lucky then, cause you didn't seem all that bad or scary to be honest." He shrugs, but then feels casual all over again and grins at the other. "Haha, and for a chatterbox like me, it worked out just fine!"
Thamin
"I wished it worked out that way, but because it is all up to chance one will not know if it is good or bad until after you've chanced it." Duff chuckled and tapped him with her silver hoof. "But think of it this way. If you never experienced anything bad, how would you truly know what good was?" Duff shook her head with a smile at the foal as he shhhed about his parents not looking before placing her spade over her mouth as if to say she wouldnt tell a soul. "I guess it didnt turn out too bad. Nothing is really all too bad if you make a friend out of it. By the way... My name is Duff." She added, realizing she had never introduced herself.
