[Guardian Plot]
I have some pretty really lame ideas for plots because my Guardian is based very heavily on my personal experiences, but I have since decided that is the WORST RP IDEA EVER for me. But you write what you know, yeah? I want to start exploring things that are outside my realm of personal experience and really discover the reach of my imagination.
Hanna's past is based heavily on mine; she's a timid little mousy person who at the cusp of adulthood fell desperately in love with someone who turned out not to be the destiny she believed in and consequently lost all hope and sense of self-worth. Kaleb's Sparkling Angel oil was meant to be a gift from said ex-significant other.
She's STILL a timid, mousy person, but she has a good heart that is easily choked by fear. She's a bit of a paradox; she craves being around people and longs to trust in people but she's always secretly afraid that everyone is out to take advantage of her. This manifests in varying degrees of social anxiety. She tends to bottle up her feelings for fear of offending anyone, but every once in a while she'll let out waves of snark, either from holding it in for too long or as a defense mechanism against a perceived threat.
I'm a little on the fence as to Hanna as a character. I'm not sure whether or not I can make her enjoyable to play, since there seems to be such a huge disconnect from the pitiable person she was and the strong, gentle personality I plan for Kaleb's future. As such, I'm pondering the idea of phasing Hanna out and introducing a new Guardian; just working out how it would happen before I make a final decision.
I really want Hanna to develop some close friendships with other Guardians or other Scents. I want there to be at least two characters she can call good friends whom she can trust to accept her with all her insecurities, even understand her.
I think it would be fun for Hanna to meet someone and "fall in love" again. Depending on how far her character is developed by that point, I'm up for either a positive or negative outcome. Due to how secretly desperate she is to love and be loved, she'll practically swoon over anyone, given the chance. xD;
The worst thing for Hanna right now would probably be to encounter someone she trusts wholeheartedly and have that person suddenly turn their back on her or betray that trust. At this point, Hanna hasn't met too many other characters, so...
At some point, after Hanna's personality has had a chance to develop, I want to see if a) she can be strong enough to stand up for herself, or b) if anyone thinks she is worth saving.
