It had been far too long since Amon and Kim had been to see Vahn, Kim had fallen in love with the guy but given his job now he seems to never actually see him and as for his and Vahns son he never seems to see him much these days either since he got a job as a lawyer, having sold up his assets in the shops he had brought off Osiris and Anubis, he now worked in some huge law firm and is one of the more popular lawyers to ask for...well, that would probably be for one reason and one reason only and thats because (1) he looked so damn hot and he knows it and (2) he INSISTS it would be highly offensive in his culture to wear anything on top except for the colder days/winter months and when culture and religion is brought up in a law firm everyone knew better to ignore it, that alone is a huge kettle of fish to start diving into and no one wished to go into that matter, even for lawyers, so they accepted it and carried on as if everything was normal. So he gets away with this and when it comes to divorce lawyers all the soon-to-be-divorced house wives come asking for him, all of them just wanting to eye him up and as much as Kim did ask him time and time again to wear something on the top half to work Amon still insists that that just feels far too natural for him so after a while Kim stopped asking.
Today, however, both Amon and Kim finally got a chance to be together, they both decided to use some of the money they had saved and the took some of the paid leave they were both owed and took two months off, both deciding to try and go for less work when they got back so they could spend more time with each other and with Vahn which was why they were here now, they had two months off and as Kim pulled into the drive way of where his parents lived, the estate still looking as beautiful as the day he brought it. "It is strange coming back here, it seems so long" he said as he climbed out of the car "i LIVE here with your father and I STILL hardly see him, I will be amazed if he hasn't thrown me out and got a new boyfriend" the demon said as he climbed out and shut the door "but we will all soon be having lunch together and we will soon be spending the next couple of months together, this is going to be a fantastic break!" Kim said as he stated toward the front door.
"Oh father, you know he loves you, you and him have been through so much together so I think the last thing will be him getting rid of you and besides, this house, the horses, the cars, everything here, I brought because I wanted you two to have the perfect life together and now you can! So don't worry about him, he loves you and always will" he said as he opened the front door "Vahn?" Kim called out "are you here?" He asked as the butler walked over and offered to take Kims coat which the demon gave to him "thank you" he said smiling at the butler.
Kim sighed, his son was right, he was worrying about nothing and looked at the butler "please, will you get Amon and I a glass of lemonade please and one of those scones that were freshly made this morning? Heated up in the microwave with butter and jam" he said as the butler nodded and walked off "lets sit" he said as he walked over to the chairs by the fireplace "I wonder where he is anyway, I thought he would of been home"....

Though Vahn didn't like it, he'd come to accept the fact that the two most important men in his life were, more often than not, very busy and generally not around. To counter his loneliness, he spent a lot of his time exploring who he was as a person by taking classes at a community college (not that he didn't have the money for a world-class education at a University; he just liked to keep himself humble). The Humanities and Social/Behavioral Sciences interested him the most; he'd already taken several courses in Religion, Anthropology, Philosophy, and Psychology. He enjoyed languages, too, but he didn't take to it as easily as Elros did and often sought her help in studying. When he wasn't busy with everything that school entailed, he visited with his family members, though he didn't see much of his mother or his brothers Xander and Apollo.
On this given day, at the moment when Kim and Amon arrived, he was on his way home from school, inwardly celebrating the A he'd received on his last French exam. He had vowed to give Elros a call the moment he got back but all thoughts of the catgirl and her tutoring skills left his head the moment he saw the car in the drive. Quick-stepping, Vahn rushed up the stairs, flung open the door, unceremoniously dumped his backpack in the entryway and followed his ears to Kim and Amon, stepping into the drawing room just as Kim was commenting on his whereabouts.
Flushed and a little out of breath, Vahn strode to Kim's seat and swept the demon out of the chair, hugging him tight. "You're home early. I didn't expect you for hours yet. Sorry for making you wait," the angelcat said, burying his face in Kim's hair and inhaling deeply, a purr rumbling in his chest.

Kim screamed a little as he was grabbed and then chuckled "I have two whole months off" he said as he said as he clung to his mate "we both have" he said as he happily purred "I am sorry I haven't been around" he said as he stroked his angelic kittys head "and for you, i will wait an eternity so it is fine, I am just getting a scone and a drink but we have planning to do, what are we going to do for the next two months?" He asked looking at his son. "Father, can you take time off school?" He asked curiously, hoping he would be able to "it is alright if you can't but we just thought that we would be able to finally spend some time together and, possibly, ride those horses for a start, they are hardly ridden by us and only taken out twice a day by the stable boy and whilst that is alright it would be better if we finally took them out again" he said, only having ridden them three times, he was well over due for another horse back ride. "He is right my darling, I think it is time we spent some time in this place together, we have this beautiful estate and I feel like I have hardly explored the place for a start, as soon as we got it I ended up finding a job to occupy myself so I wouldn't go nuts so we all need to finally spend time together."

Vahn gave his love a last squeeze then spun around 180 degrees, taking the seat previously occupied by Kimaris and settling the demon on his lap. He kept his arms circled loosely around Kim and rested his chin on his shoulder, looking at Amon across the way.
"Well, I would have to talk to my teachers about it but I don't see any reason why they'd mind terribly if I took some time off. I mean, unlike Elros I don't have to worry much about completion rates and everything since I'm not receiving financial aid. Besides that, with her help, I've done pretty well in all my classes." He paused for a moment and looked up, chewing thoughtfully on his lip.
"Tell you what, how about I finish out the week and after the last session for each class, I'll stay behind to talk with my teachers but, whatever they say, I'll still take the time off. Spending time with you both is much more important to me than something I'm doing just for fun and to keep busy, you know?"
(( Sorry it took me so long to post. Didn't really have much in the way of inspiration over my break and, before I knew it, I was back to the grind of school. ^^;;;; ))

"That is my smart baby" Kim said as he bent down and kissed his mate again "but that sounds great! I can't wait to be able to just sit down with you somewhere and just cuddle each other, you and I haven't had time alone in ages" he said, feeling terrible about it but then realized something as he sat on the side of the chair his mate took and looked at his mate and sighed "darling, that isn't right, what will that teach our son?" He said, playful glint in his eye "just go against authority and just do whatever he wants regardless? That isn't setting a very good example..." he said before being hit with a cushion "HEY!" The demon said as he caught the falling cushion. Amon laughed at his father "I am a lawyer so something tells me I don't need to worry about listening to you two and taking note of what I should and shouldn't do anymore" he said grinning at his parents "alright, listening to you I guess can still be done to an extent but I think by now I don't need to worry about right and wrong" he said as the butler came back with his and his fathers food and placed a plate with a scone on each plate in front of him and the demon along with a tall glass of lemonade. "Thank you" he said smiling up at the butler before picking up one half of the scone and started to nibble it before looking up at the butler "oh and Xavier, did you get my text?" He asked, having sent him a text when he was taking a break from court and couldn't really speak for a long period of time even if the call was just going to be no longer then three minutes, he had to speak to the client. Xavier nodded "yes, I did, thank you for the night off, my staff and I are most appreciative" he said as he looked to Vahn "and sir, welcome home, would you like anything to eat or drink?" Amon looked at his son "excuse me for a moment, Xavier" he said looking at his son "since when do you have authority over our staff?" He asked curiously, not that he didn't mind just that he thought only him and Vahn did. Amon grinned at his father again "since technically, they still work for me, I am still paying their pay cheque at the end of the week" he said playfully "but no, they don't listen to me usually unless it is just an order for a drink or something, nights off are usually passed by you to get your authority but I have booked us into a rather beautiful swanky restaurant in the city, my shout so yes, they get the night off...that is alright isn't it?" Kim smiled at his son as he hugged the cushion "how can I say no to that?" He said as he thanked and picked up a scone and started eating it. Xavier cleared his throat "I am sorry for interrupting and being so blunt but I do have some work to do before tonight, please, sir" he said looking at Vahn "is there anything you would like?" ((That is alright, I have been the same lately with several of my rps. ))
