Likes;
Her RuYi - It was with her when she first became a purity and has been inseparable since. She doesn't really understand (yet) why it's important to her, but it bears the quaint scent of bean sprouts.
Gardening - Getting down and dirty is something she doesn't like, but at the tea house, the railings are lined with boxes of dirt in where Yu Jie tends to plants. The places where it's more private there are herbs while the places where more customers see have flowers. She has a natural 'green thumb' when it comes to growing things.
Jade - Although her only real piece of jade is with her ruyi, Yu Jie loves looking at pieces. She loves seeing the intricate designs on them as well as the different shades of green.
Dislikes;
The cold - Once a snake, Yu Jie doesn't like the cold. Most of the time when it's cold out, she stays indoors and near warmth. If she has to go out, she's bundled very well and is even less active than usual.
Personality;
Cautious || Attached -
Perceptive - Yu Jie is very good at looking at one situation and finding the best possible solution that would benefit the most sides. She believes that only then is there really a best solution. Even if there was another option where she would gain more, Yu Jie wouldn't feel like it was the 'best' option.
Eloquent || Reserved -
Frugal || Overly-generous - When it comes to spending on herself, Yu Jie does so very little. She doesn't believe in buying things that are unnecessary and would only buy something she really needed, like food. Only in dire situations (like if her shoes were ripped) would she buy a new possession. However, when it comes to helping out, Yu Jie is always willing. She feels the need to help others when they ask for it it, and more often than not, over do it.

Mei Yin (美音); A lucky envelope was given to Perenna when she had first arrived to this land. Perenna never noticed that the plants in her garden grew very well for a year. It wasn't until Yu Jie came into her life and Perenna gifted the envelope did the spirit appear. The magic was gone, but the spirit continued to stay with them. She attached herself to Yu Jie and now, they enjoy working in the gardens together, where despite the spirit not having any magic, teamwork helps their plants flourish.
Mei Yin is extremely shy and only shows herself willingly around Yu Jie and Perenna (Perenna took a lot of warming up to). She also does not speak, but 'rings' with the sound of Spring all year round. If she needs to communicate, they are normally through actions. Between her and Yu Jie, however, they have a bond in which they understand each other even with just a glance.
