Hello and welcome to the Lion King Event...Already among the long list of lions (now over 200) are Simba and Scar. Well in this event other lions and lionesses from the Lion King movie(s) will be given away through Role Playing, Raffles and Auction events. News Log: March 08th, 2006: As of now I'm just getting the thread set up and I hope to start the event(s) some time next week
March 10th, 2006: The first round of events have started and will last about a month
March 13th, 2006: Mini contest added
March 15th, 2006: First round ends April 7th, except the auction which ends March 25th
March 23rd, 2006: I will not be in town the 25th (got into this New York trip thing for class last min, so yeah) and the auction will end the midnight of the 25th (technicly the first min of the 26th) and no new bidders will be excepted in the last 30 min.
March 25th, 2006: Rage Beat won Zira in the auction
March 31st, 2006: The second round will consist of events for Vitani, Nuka and Nala. The third round has the two sweet hearts Kovu and Kiara. Then there will be the final round which is only for those with points for advertising the event. More on the next rounds after the judging of this round
April 4th, 2006: Don't forget if there is a * next to a contest you need to send 100g to the guild (only has to be done once in this event)...please see page 12 if you are still confused
April 7th, 2006: This round is now over...winners will be anounced Sat and the next round will start after Tuesday (have a paper due that day)...Oh and if you have not paid your 100g for entering *newbee contest is exsempt from this* please do so soon. In the next rounds there will be more detailed rules posted on the front so I would incurage you to read them carfully (Once the next round starts) otherwise your entree wont be excepted
April 8th, 2006: Okay, this contest was hard to judge, I've read and reread and the contest was very close...I'll be rewarding 5 points to the second place winners and ask that the first place winners post their new cubs information here in the thread. Inorder for the second place winners to receave the points they have to stop by the thread, if by the time the next round ends and they still have not retreaved their points the next place winner will be anounced and given time too. Everyone who entered gets 1 point towards the final round but again you have to claim it...

April 25th, 2006: If you have points in the Mini contest which pertain to inviting other users to the guild for the event please read this, I will be nice and tolerate things so long as people are up front with me...warning to everyone I will not count any gaian who I think may be a duplicate person, a mule account or recently created. If you have any such ones as one of your points please tell me know *not in a pissy mood just haven't slept in over 48 hours and still have to do another all nighter*, I reserve the right from now on and over those already given to not give points if I even suspect it or remove all points if I find some miss represented a person when I go through at the end for the bonus round. I am doing this event for nowhere near the profit then I could have if I put it up in the breedables thread and made everything raffles or auctions. This is supposed to be fun?
April 30th, 2006: Just the little end rap up talk again...at midnight tonight no more tickets or bids can be taken and some time shortly after I will use the lovely random number generator to pick the winner. Since I also gave out 2nd place prizes I'll also draw a second number who will win X-amount of points. Like before anyone who bought tickets or made bids just has to stop in the thread and they will get their participation points.
May 1st, 2006: After several attempts to draw 3 winners for the raffle here are the winners of both Nuka and Vitani along with those who won points. May 20th, 2006: Well lets see so far we have had 4 RP contests, 2 auctions and 1 raffle and for the final round there will be something sort of different. Instead of having one clear prize for the winner there will be three areas you can enter and the winner in each area will be able to pick there prize.
Well right now the two of the prizes are on the post below, the sweet little love kitties. There is going to be a third prize added to this round. It is a custom lion with the restriction that you can?t ask for it to be on *insert name here* lineart or be brightly colored but rather a lion in the tradition of LK, simple but markings to identify him or her. This is the final round you may only win 2 lions from this event and you may only enter 2 contests in this round. Any questions feel free to post them and after this round is over (ends June 27th at 11:59 PM EST) the bonus round for those with points will start.
June 24th, 2006: Okay this round will end the 27th like I stated when it started so if you have any last min. entries make sure and get them in soon. I'll tally up the remaining bonus points that night and start the final part of the event. If you get points from this round please claim them asap and if you haven't claimed points from last round they will disapear the 27th. Also if you have points to spend please make sure and check in often next week because I will not be anouncing every little thing, there will be good things put up for mini stuff between the 28th and the 5th at random. There will be several types of events. The first one is based off of an idea one of my elementary school teachers used with “good kid points”. An animal/other will be put up and similar to an auction people bid, but in this you can only bid with points. Who ever bids the most points at the end gets the animal/other.
The second type of event is a raffle but again you can only buy tickets with points. The cost per ticket will be put up on the front page along with what you are trying to win.
The final one will be at random and the winner will be the first person to post after me (with at least blank amount of points). I will post an animal/other up in this thread along with a number of points that you must have to win him/her/other. The first person to post after me saying that they wish to claim it wins.
This is a note to everyone with points, if you have already won a lion from this event you can only win one prize from this round. I will start off by posting smaller prizes; the larger of em will not be up until later in the week so use your points wisely. As of now I have planned 10 prizes, some will have a limit on how many lions you have while others will require you to have at least one lion. Good luck and any questions just post em and I’ll try to answer you.

Okay this is the first round of the Lion King Event. These lions are the older generation from the movies. You will not know whether or not they are normal or rare until they grow up. Other then that good luck to everyone and this will last until April 7 unless stated otherwise in the posts below.Rules: ~No fighting or discouraging people
~You may enter for two different lions per round but you may only win one per round
~Entries must be well written structurally, so no computer speak
~Post all RP entries here in the thread
~I reserve the right to add rules as the event continues when I feel fit to keep this event fair for all parties involved
~Lions with a blue * next to them require you to send 100g to the guild, this cost only needs to be paid once per person over the whole event (so if you enter a second blue * event you don't have to pay a second time) ~Please Read all of the RULES~Keep all talk and entries PG-13 or less (blood and hunting is aloud just so long as it is done in a taistful way)
~One person may only win up to 2 lions in this event, this includes the bonis round that will accure at the end...if someone does win 2 before that round and has mini contest points to their name they may give them to someone else for a chance to winMini Contest Not a good writer, afraid your going to miss out on one of the rounds or don't have enough gold for an auction? Well here is an extra way join in the fun....For every person you refer to this thread you get a point (just have them post that you pointed them to the thread) and for every person that you pointed who enters an event you get another point (up to 3 per person). Thanks to ushiyasha we have some lovely banners, which can also get you points in the event! For every full week that you keep one of these banners in your sig you get 3 points. ROUND three events…Over Well lets see so far we have had 4 RP contests, 2 auctions and 1 raffle and for the final round there will be something sort of different. Instead of having one clear prize for the winner there will be three areas you can enter and the winner in each area will be able to pick there prize. The first contest (and the one who will get to pick their prize first) is going to be a drawing (art) contest *thanks MoonRazor*.

Well I gave away two breeding slots with the catch that a third cub would come back to here. The two who won the slots + whom evers lions theirs breeds with will get to choice their cubs first and the two cubs (one from each breeding) will go to the winners of this part of the event. The winner of the auction gets to choice first and the raffle winner gets to choice next. Since it could be awhile before the cubs are born there is no set date as to when the winner will get the cub. (Edit one of the cubs has been born, see my breeding den for picture reference)
