The first one is the most beautiful, amazing, funny, wise, and generally AWESOMISH picture book ever. (If I'm gushing a little, it's 'cause I just left the Love thread on the Discussion subforum and the feeling hasn't left yet.) The second (in the next post) is something I wrote late last night (when I'm most creative) while I was inspired by reading the first one.
If You're Afraid of the Dark
Remember the Night Rainbow

(You really have to read the book and look at the pictures to get the full effect of its awesomishness. I'm just posting the text.)
(Also, lines with a heart next to them are ones I think are particularly funny, amazing, beautiful, wise, or just generally AWESOMISH.)
If tomorrow morning the sky falls... have clouds for breakfast.
If night falls... use stars for streetlights.
If the moon gets stuck in a tree... cover the hole in the sky with a strawberry.
If you have butterflies in your stomach... ask them into your heart.
If your heart catches in your throat... ask a bird how she sings.
If the birds forget their songs... listen to a pebble instead. heart
If you lose a memory... embroider a new one to take its place. heart
If you lose the key... throw away the house. heart
If the clock stops... use your own hands to tell time.
If the light goes out... wear it around your neck and go dancing.
If the bus doesn't come... catch a fast cloud.
If it's the last dance... dance backwards.
If you find your socks don't match... stand in a flowerbed.
If your shoes don't fit... give them to the fish in the pond.
If your horse needs shoes... let him use his wings.
If the sun never shines again... hold fireflies in your hands to keep warm.
If you're afraid of the dark... remember the night rainbow.
If there is no happy ending... make one out of cookie dough. heart

Alright, here's mine. As of now I haven't decided what order to put them in, except for the last three. If I ever do, I'll change them around. So, here goes...
If you're tired of wearing your heart on your sleeve... move it to your forehead.
If your heart is hurting... put a band-aid over it.
If the stars stop twinkling... throw glitter into the air.
If you find a fallen star... attatch it to a coathanger and put it back in the sky.
If your tea is too bitter... sweeten it with starlight and sugar.
If you want to have a happy night... smile along with the moon.
If the train is late... hitch a ride on a shooting star.
If the ice is too thin... skate on a sunbeam.
If you feel you're walking on eggshells... take to your wings for a while.
If your head is in the clouds... let the rest of your body join it.
If all the rainbows are hiding... count to ten and go seek them.
If your little sister falls on the ground... let her sit in the sky until she feels better.
If you've got so much love you don't know what to do with it... donate some to charity.
If you're bored out of your mind... ask a moth to help you get back into it.
If your flowers won't grow... fill your garden with chickens instead.
If the landlord won't let you keep animals... adopt a pet rock.
If aliens invade the planet... offer them some brownies.
If you can't see the future... try to smell it.
If there is no tomorrow... wait till the day after comes.
If the world's about to end... throw a tea party and bake some cupcakes.

Yeah, it's totally hidious. It's one of those ones with teh cheesey looking model-ish picture of a girl with a purse adn what-not. But I can fix that. I'm planning on getting duct tape adn covering the book. Then I'll tape a picture on there of who knows what. 3nodding
