The playoffs are set to start this Saturday. Glad to see the Lakers get the 7th seed as they have a better chance to make it past the first round against the Spurs rather than the Thunder, especially without Kobe.
I'm not really sure why I made this thread because this guild seems pretty dead, but I'm trying to keep it alive.
Just discuss the playoffs here.

I predicted the Heat over the Nuggets in my other thread just because I didn't want another Heat/Thunder Finals. I just don't see any team beating Miami in a best-of-seven series.

I hate to say it, but I don't really see anyone who can beat the Heat too. I hate it even more to say that the Lakers have almost no chance of making it past the first round now as well..
And maybe it would be boring, but I think it will be the Spurs and Thunder in the WCF again. I don't really see any other team that will make it to the finals in the West other than them.

I know I'm late, but it's sad for me to see the Lakers get swept out of the first round. It's no excuse that we had several inured players. We still had Gasol and Howard. They could have at least won one game. Oh well..
I just hope the Grizzlies knock the Clippers out of the first round haha.

Eastern conference finals = Knicks vs. Heat = Knicks ( hopefully )
Western conference = OKC vs Spurs = Spurs
Knicks vs Spurs = Spurs
Now no one needs to watch the playoffs, you're welcome.

Second round predictions:
Grizzlies over Thunder, 4-3
Spurs over Warriors, 4-2
Heat over Bulls, 4-2
Pacers over Knicks, 4-2

If any team could beat the Heat in the East, it would be the Knicks or the Pacers. Maybe the Bulls could beat them, but I doubt that. I still think they're pretty much guaranteed to make the finals.

I agree with your predictions. A Grizzlies-Spurs WCF would be fun to watch.
Heat-Pacers would be a good series too. If the Knicks win game two against the Pacers and then take one on the road, then maybe they'll make ECF.
