Hi all. I am asking for prayers for me and my husband. My husband was injured at work, and is not able to work. He recently got cut off of Workmans comp. Money is soooo tight right now.
Please pray for me to get a job. I have put in applications everyone. I have told God that I would go wherever he wanted me (even if it meant moving).
Pray for my husband to start feeling better.
Pray for me to not get discouraged more than I am.
I know I can trust in God to provide. But even then it is hard to not worry about it.

Thank you so much.

I will pray for both you and your husband on one condition please.
That is that the two of you stay strong together in the Word of God, stay encouraged, and continue to seek the blessings that the Lord will provide the two of you if you just leave it all in His hands and not keep picking it back up and worring about it. Because when you do, it is like you don't trust the Creator of everything, including yourself (Gen 2:7) with the problem for Him to already have it resolved and the blessings of a full healing for your husband and the finances that the two of you need to be already there by God Himself to do. Just fully trust in and lean on as well as give all your troubles to God, and leave all of your troubles at the alter before Him. Because He can do anything and everything and already has all of this worked out for you if you just trust and believe in Him.
I will keep you both in my prayers.

Thank you so much! That is what I have done. He is in control. While I trust in Him to provide a means of making a living, I still keep putting in applications and everything. We are looking at possibly moving in order to get a job. Thank you so much for all your prayers smile

No worries. I'm sure. Besides as you probably know, we as Christians are suppose to hold each up in prayer like the Holy Bible says to do.

I often find myself praying for others so much that I forget that it is ok to pray for myself.

Times like these calls for a lot of patience and faith. Make sure you are going to church regularly so that they can help you remain strong in the Lord.
It is so easy to trust the Lord when things are going well, but when things get rocky we see the true measure of our faith. It is during these times when we turn to God that we grow and mature in our relationship with Him. He uses times like these to work and grow you into the person that He can use. Then He can put you into the position that He has set aside for you. You have to be willing to put the time and effort into your relationship with Him to make the changes you need so that you will be ready for what He has for you. Whatever it is, it will be better than what you could hope for. So many people teach others to pray for victory in whatever situation they are in and tell them nothing of the work that comes with it. The true victory in life is putting the fire back into our relationship with God. That is when the doors open up that we thought never would open. We see things clearly and best of all is that the closeness we gain with God is worth it all.

AMEN to all of what you said my dear friend and sister in our Lord Christ Jesus; and taking nothing away from what The Hawk said either. I find what you both have said to her to the real truth in seriously serving the Lord the way one is suppose to!

Thank you so much guys. I trust in my Savior every day, I praise Him in the Storms as well as the Sun. Through the valleys and the mountaintops, its all something I go through while leaning and trusting on the Lord.
I go to church every Sunday, and Bible Study on Wednesday as well. I yearn for the Lord.

Just wanted to update you guys...
I have heard from a job! It is a little away from where we want to live, but I told God I would go wherever he wanted me to be! I prayed that His will be done and within a week, I had heard from this position!
God is working! Even when a person thinks He isn't, He is!
