This is oh so true, but I'm not sure how many people would love to read song lyrics or learn about my family on a first name basis (I mean I show no mercy there lol ).
Anyway, today I spent most of the day working on a project for my manager at work (known on my other blog as "Catherine"). Catherine is a furry when not at work and I am trying to make her some claws to go on her paws. At any rate, I'm still not completely done with the claws, but I think with just a few more tweaks I should be done. 3nodding

Not much exciting happened today. Well, guess I shouldn't say that since we did celebrate Steven's (my brother and bff) birthday today. 3nodding it was totally awesome albeit small and not much ('cept for waiting around 10 to 15 minutes to get a seat at the Golden Corral Buffet) and giving him a couple cards and some Orange Lifesaver Candies (his favorite).
I also had to go to a meeting tonight for work. xd Big plus was that I got my paycheck a day early and found out I don't have to work with a semi-new girl (that I really do not get along with at all) tomorrow like initially planned! biggrin Thank God! I'm sorry but she really is a big pain! sweatdrop Running around with a hot pan of pale cookies asking if they're done, offering me tons of candy and soda (which I shouldn't and can't have because I'm a pre-diabetic) xp , and just plain won't stop talking! stressed Now I'm working with the second cake decorator (and someone I went to school with for about a year before she transferred). Totally awesome girl! cool
Well, not much else to post for tonight. So I'll leave it at this. And try to write more tomorrow (on what would have been my dad's 66th birthday). sweatdrop Miss you, Daddy! heart

Okay so I didn't write here on Daddy's 66th birthday, but I did write in/on my other blog. rolleyes Probably because it turned into a totally crappy day. xp
Today on the other hand was awesome! Well, not entirely since I had to work, but I have been feeling tons better after my doctor's appointment on Tuesday of this past week. Allow me to explain.
I lowered my weight by about 5-6 pounds since my last appointment, my blood sugar/glucose average is 111 mg/dl (or 5.5) which is the lowest it has ever been, and I'm off one medication. Only two downfalls. One: I'm now taking a baby aspirin (81mg) every night and upping my statin meds because my doctor says my cholesterol and triglycerides are totally out of control and she's surprised they're that high and I haven't had any trouble (i.e., stroke, heart attack, etc.)! eek
Well, not much else to report. I should be getting some good sleep as I have a long shift tomorrow (well long for me anyway -- about 5 hours).

Okay so I've been not writing in either blog recently. Sadly, the only noteworthy tidbit I have is I received a disappointing email this afternoon/evening. I was trying so hard to work for a high-end department store (H&M) that would be opening at Oak Park Mall here in KC, but they informed me that the position was all ready filled. sweatdrop Darn! Guess I'm stuck at Haagen-Dazs/Nestle's at said mall, so if you're in the area feel free to come for a visit sometime when I'm working. Well, that's all here. heart
