"Hail to the Hammer" Hits the PA system as the brand new Justin Shields appears on the stage, recieving quite a mixed reaction. The big man holds his arms out wide, strecthing before he bounces on his heels and wanders down to the ring. Before the music could hit he yanks the microphone from the announcer.
"Rebirth, resurrection? Those are both words meaning that something has changed, something has improved. But as I looked at the marquee for this show, and what was headlined as the main event, I was filled with doubt about the use of such words. Jed? Matt Shannahan? For how man years have those names been shoved down your throats. Jed, since 2005 I can assure you. Matt? Not that much shorter of a time. But this wrestling territory has been unchanging for a long time. Why fix what is not broken? One may implore. Well, with that sentiment why don't we bring out what else is old and decrepit? How about we pull Figgins out of whatever asylum he is in? Or how about a company actually takes a risk for once?"
"But these company's are set in their ways, so fraught with nepotism. So afraid of things changing. Before I stepped into this ring I was a fan. And through a fans eyes you can see that this division is on a downslope. Because they are stagnating by shelling out the same product they have for years. Soon each company has all the same matches, the same main events, the same headliners. Allow me to save this company by injecting something a little new into it Either it will accept me and thrive, or reject me and whither. Bring on my opponent"
He tosses the microphone back to the announcer

The lights dim slightly as the ever familiar chords of Down with the Sickness by Disturbed hits the PA.
Can you feel that?
The fans look to the entrance as all along the ramp mechanical torches are raised. The music is familiar, and the die hards in the audience that have lighters light them.
Oh wah ah ah ah!
Flames burst up on the stage and the crowd erupts in cheers as Jarel Damone steps out onto the stage and stands, looking out into the sea of fans who hadn't seen him in over a year now. He's dressed in his usual jeans and a sleeveless shirt, complete with his gloves but forgoing the usual coats or vests. The torches on the ramp shoot flames periodically in time with the beat of the music and the Dragon begins to make his way to the ring.
Drowning deep in my sea of loathing Broken your servant I kneel (Will you give in to me?) It seems what's left of my human side Is slowly changing ... in me (Will you give in to me?)
Jarel makes his way down the ramp, stopping on occasion to slap a fan's hand.
Looking at my own reflection When suddenly it changes Violently it changes Oh no, There is no turning back now You've woken up the demon ... in me
Jarel stops at the end of the ramp, looking around the ringside area and into the rafters.
Get up, come on get down with the sickness Get up, come on get down with the sickness Get up, come on get down with the sickness Open up your hate, and let it flow into me Get up, come on get down with the sickness You mother get up Come on get down with the sickness You ******** get up Come on get down with the sickness Madness is the gift, that has been given to me
The Dragon steps up onto the apron, eyes looking up to the rafters still as the silver Dragon symbol is lowered to the ring.
I can see inside you, the sickness is rising Don't try to deny what you feel (Will you give in to me?) It seems that all that was good has died And is decaying in me (Will you give in to me?)
Stepping in over the top rope, Jarel walks to the center of the ring and watches as the symbol comes to a stop a few feet above the ring.
It seems you're having some trouble In dealing with these changes Living with these changes Oh no, the world is a scary place Now that you've woken up the demon ... in me
As the chorus hits again, Jarel turns away from the symbol towards the fans and raises his fist in his usual taunt. Flames burst up from the turnbuckle and the symbol lights up as the fans continue to cheer. The symbol rises back into the rafters as Jarel lowers his fist and the music slowly fades out.
The Dragon looks across the ring at his opponent and smirks slightly. The little speech beforehand amused him, and as the bell rings he stands and waits to see what his opponent will do

Justin watched his opponent with his calculating blue eyes while he paraded himself down to the ring. Once the bell rung, he stooped into a low stance. He was a tall and powerful lad, gifted with natural atheletic ability. But he seemed to be a calculating sort. Done from years of hunting in his mountain home. He feinted a swipe at the opponents legs. Like a wolf nipping at the heels of it's prey to elicit a reaction

The Dragon has done his homework. He's 3 inches taller than his opponent tonight and about 70 pounds heavier. He expects the man to go for his legs, and as such steps back from the feint. However, Jarel is not a defensive man, and immediately looks to retaliate, aiming to kick Justin in the jaw

Justin nearly bit his tongue, that wouldn't have been pleasant. He stood back for a moment to check his jaw and loose a chuckle. He beckoned his opponent forth. "Try that again"

Jarel doesn't go to the well too many times. that's a rookie mistake. Instead, he looks to hit a quick throat thrust

Justin takes the blow like a champ, or at least that's what he'd tell his friends back at the meadhalls at home. Instead, he kinda reeled back and fell on his a**. Well, the arrogant s**t asked for it. He decided to sit there a moment and aim a kick to the knee of the larger man

Jarel had been preparing to continue his assault, when instead a foot meets his knee. It's but one kick, but succeeds in making him stumble back a couple of steps. He grits his teeth slightly, realizing Justin, like so many before him, will try to chop the big man down.

Justin takes the oppertunity to rise back to his feet, giving his opponent a quick glance over. Going for the legs would be folly at this point. Unless they could match strength with the big man, almost every one went for the legs. But what if he slowed down that superior reach? He charged in,instead of shooting for the legs he went for an arm wrench

that was not what Jarel expected, so he finds himself caught in an arm wrench. Though initially surprised, he often goes after the arms himself, and looks to reverse the arm wrench into one of his own, then smash his fist into Justin's shoulder

Well maybe once the hold was applied, Justin got a bit cocky. And soon found himself caught in an armwrench as well. Then getting a nice fist into the shoulder. He ripped himself out of the hold. He soon goes for a middle kick, but instead of kicking at the midsection. His kick seemed aimed at the arm he just attacked

Jarel is caught with a kick to the arm. At this point, it's not the most harmful move, but effective enough to force him to step back out of striking range, shaking his arm slightly as if it would rid him of the stinging pain

Justin knew it didn't damage much, but he planned for culmulative damage to take it's toll soon enough. As for now, he remembered an old proverb about the village well. So he decided to not keep going for the same place over and over. Instead he went for a ballsyer approach. A raising of his right hand. He was challenging a test of strength

Jarel finds Justin's strategy to be strange. However, he moves forward, raising his own hand as if to go into the test of strength. However, the Dragon has a strategy of his own in mind, using his other hand to attempt a hard body shot to the ribs of his opponent. Should this connect, he would attempt a quick scoopslam to take his opponent down finally
