In the paper the other day there was an article about the well known nursery rhyme "Baa baa black sheep".
They are now talking of changing it to "Baa baa rainbow sheep" because of political correctness. Personally I think that's too far. I mean, i could understand if it was something like "baa baa nazi sheep", but really...
What does everyone else think?
Are we going too far with PC these days?

Yeah i think thats going to far... i don't see a reason to change the color from black to rainbow just because some person think its racial or whatever(when it really isn't)...i don't see any rainbow sheep running around do u?

It has nothing to do with the race/ethnic group of the sheep. Its just it's a hell of a lot less likely to find a black sheep. So yes this is going too far. I think that everyone. 9not everyone, but you know most people.0 Should pull theird head out of their butts and look at stuff that isn't s**t.

Sorry 'bot that, I am very political.

I believe that society in general is getting all too nervous with their views of other people in fear of insulting them, and that fear creates more fear, which is definately not a good thing. Nursery rhymes were ment to be nonpredjudice, of course, but this judgement turning black to rainbow will almost definately stir up controversy in the homosexual and anti-homosexual communities. If i could rule the world, we would all follow by this addage. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
