It's been my dream since I was a little girl to be an astronomer when I grow up, and to be honest, I can't imagine doing anything else. I've been taking Chem 111 at my college, and am pretty sure I'm failing. I'll be lucky if I pass with a C. No matter how much I study or do practice problems, I always without fail run out of time and miss half of the test because of it, and the problems I do know how to do I end up getting wrong. The other day, I read something by Joyce Meyer (a famous Christian preacher) that said that if you're worried about what God's plans are for you, you should do something that involves what you're good at, because God gives you talents for that purpose. My strong point firstmost is English, but I'm also really good at math which I think is because I've had really good teachers. What I want to know, is should I quit trying to be an astronomer because of this one really hard class? Or should I keep pursuing it? I'm super stressed out about it and cry whenever I recieve a failed test back. I'm just not sure what God wants me to do..

Victoria Whitechapel Bliss the only way you fail is if you give up. If you want to be an Astronomer then keep shooting for it. I cannot stress this enough don't be me lol I did not finish school and I gave up on my dreams as a result I find myself constantly regretting it. If I could go back to college I would but I have too may bills and not enough time. so here I sit with only my High School diploma. do not let one class discourage you follow your dreams you only get one life make the most of it smile You are AWESOME and you can do it smile
