It wasn't every day that Motega decided to take the trails leading parallel to the river, but the rabbit thought the change of scenery would be nice. Truthfully, he didn't often venture in this direction at all, sticking with more familiar routes instead. However, he couldn't help the curiosity in seeing if it was just as he remembered it, or if anything had changed in the past many months since he was last here. It may even be much different solely from the fact it was now late spring instead!
The blue-haired bunny was in need of foraging for supplies and food, but he wasn't in a dire situation as far as low inventory was concerned -- he just needed to be on the lookout for the next few days. He couldn't really remember what all the area offered for such necessities, but the sound of the bubbling river was quite relaxing and cool for a morning so hot.
A bag slung across a shoulder, Motega paused in his travels as he came across a line of protruding rocks from the river. Musing to himself, he opted to try hopping across the expanse -- he'd never actually been to that side before, even the last few times he was in the area. He had the time, and there was nowhere he needed to be... so why not?
Gingerly, he moved a foot to the first rock, testing to see how stable it was before putting full weight atop it. The rocks were smooth from the coursing of the river in years past, but were currently dry, reducing the chance of slipping. As he made his way from rock to rock, he peered into the water on one side. "Though it wouldn't be too unfortunate to fall, on a day like this," he noted with a minor smile; the water seemed fairly deep.
