Some time this week, I'm going to post my in depth RP and see if it flies. ... Here's to hoping it's remotely interesting...

I'm a guy that loves RPs full of action. So I was thinking of addressing this kind of RP.

Note: This isn't the one I'm currently working on, but it's my second project for an RP here on Gaia...which is where I do all of my RPing now days. Mostly cause I don't have to waste hours finding literate people. XD

The idea I've been thinking over the past couple days is something of a hybrid of multiple things -- all action based of course.

1) The hit game on PS2 called, Killzone.
2) An old PC Best Game for 4 years straight called, Total Annihilation; which is also a PC Game about 8 or 10 years old. Still one of the best RTS games for PC. RTS = Real Time Strategy.
3) Futuristic Military Warfare.
4) Starwars
5) Space Combat -- similar to Gundam anime.

The actual plot behind something like this would be similar to Total Annihilation's plot. 4000 years of nothing but absolute and total war. The two factions UWA (United World Alliance) and HGA (Hell Gate Army) join forces to combat a new threat at hand; an unknown organism that infested the earth with bio-mechanical beings that have been labeled, bio-androids. These creatures are capable of much destruction and are a force to be wreckened with for the UWA and HGA forces to handle on their own. As a result they must join forces in order to rid the world of this threat before it eliminates them. =P

Things about this RP would include the following, but not excluding other possiblities:

1) This would be placed in the future where laser weaponry would be available to use.
2) Bullets would come with explosives in them as a standard.
3) Shields are available for certain military positions. Some aircraft have shields and some don't. This isn't going to be like some Halo remake. -_-
4) Tanks, mobile suit armors (not the same as something like a Gundam), Gundams, Fighter Ships, Cargo transports, etc. are the viable vehicles that should be used in this kind of RP.
5) Land mines should be used in mass quanities. Portible Mind Layer weapons that look similar to a modern day grenade launcher will be provided in this RP for using mines.
6) Combat situations are happening all the time and all over the place.
7) Military ranks will be provided and will be used in this RP. However, no character will be above Captain. Once the position of Captain is filled three times, no one else can be of that rank. This is just to put some kind of authority on players in the RP. I don't want some idiot joining and them screwing it all up.
cool There will be various "classes" you can be. Combat Medic, Marine, Sniper, Special Operations, Demolishions, Combat Engineer, Heavy Weapons, Combat Pilot, Spy.
9) I will provide various links to maps that I'll create through computer software in order to help you guys navigate through the vast city's network. This will just look like one of those maps you find at a rest station on the interstate roads. I'll have blue prints to bunkers and installations for you guys to follow when the RP progresses to that stage.


Now the only thing I'm wondering about is if anyone is willing to either work with me in ironning out the details of the RP (because I'm working on another one amoung many other things) and coming up with possible plot twists and generating other useful ideas. So I throw the offer out there in the water with my fishing pole to see if I can catch someone.

lol, yeah, I'd probably be either a combat pilot or marine that uses a mobile suit armor. If I'm a pilot I'd probably operate a mobile suit, such as a gundam, or some kind of war mech machine. =P

This kind of RP has a lot of flexibility. =)
