As we all know, Neville could have been the 'chosen one.' There are so many questions about that. What would have happened if Voldemort chose him? How would the world be different? Would he have lived?
Well, all of those questions are very "What If?" and what if's are kind of boring. This one is better.
Will Harry ever tell Neville? Or someone else perhaps? And how will he react to it?
If he does find out, I have the feeling he'll be asking a lot of "What if?" questions. Or perhaps he would wish it were him. He'd be happier if his parents died instead of living in their state now.
But honestly, I don't think he'd take it too well.

Perhaps Neville will find out and then together they will have to duke it out with Voldemort.. Or Neville will save Harry's life in the end.. I hope that's what happens. I would love to see Neville stand up to the person that has caused him so much grief over the years. Wouldn't that be grand?

This is a very interesting thread. Neville will find out about it eventually, there is no doubt about it and I don't think JK Rowling can just leave that part out. It would make the story incomplete.

Harry has to tell him sooner or later because if he doesn't, Voldy or Bellatrix or one of the Death eaters will tell him the hard way... Right before they kill him. That would make me throw my book out of the window. I don't want him to die, but alas, he probably will. That would suck so much.

I have no doubt that we will find out. It's possible Neville might not find out from Harry but from someone else.

To whom ever it was that said that Neville will probably die in the seventh book, I don't think so! talk2hand Oh man that would be awful. emo No, Neville has to defeat Bellatrix in a final showdown. That's just the way it's going to be. Neville is far too awesome to be killed off.
(By the way, I'm back! The guild has grown quite a bit. I'd like to get some Marauder's Roleplay going, but I don't know if it's allowed. PM me if you want to start one in the gaia forums. ^^ )

Yeah. I don't want to admit it either but you have to admit the forshadowing of all his clumsiness and accidents that he will probably be killed. JK Rowling will do it in a noble way though. If he doesn't die, praise the Lord! I couldn't bare having to read about Neville dying. And imagine seeing Matthew Lewis die on the big screen. I would go into shock.
