So. This is fairly minor. I am sure most people have already talked about the red wedding elsewhere.

I was interested to see Jon's defection from the Wildlings. I am glad that p***k of a Warg finally got a sword through his gut.

Though I admit I was really concerned the Lord of Bones was going to kill Ygritte. I am glad she lived though the rate that Martin seems to go through characters I can see her being the one to take down Jon Snow in a fit of vengeance.

Anyone who knows can spoil it for me. Going to read the books anyways. Just put it in those spoiler tags things so that it isn't ruined for everyone.

I was impressed by the episode, they did a lovely job and was pretty accurate to the book.
I'm not one to spoil for others so I'll stay quiet. ^_^

I have heard that overall really they have done a pretty good job of staying true to the source material. Like all things I am sure they will eventually deviate rather heavily to the point where purists will flip but we'll see.

And yes, it was quite a good episode. I am interested to see what follows this.

correct, it's mostly been spot on.
I always enjoy watching a new episode and comparing it to the books and seeing what I've read being brought to life!
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they began to switch it up, it might be more entertaining.

Mmhmm, it was a good one, I have a feeling it's only going to get better! ^O^

and it seems likely that things in the show are going to be altered from the book, they've already changed a bunch of things. it'll be interesting to see where it leads. > w>

and also, i'm a spoilsport.

ygritte ends up dying with the lil' raider group when they try to attack castle black. she doesn't wound jon, and jon doesn't kill her, but they have a romantic moment as she's dying to reconcile.
of course who knows what will happen in the show, but yes.

I died after watching this episode.
I had not read the book beforehand and absolutely WAS NOT expecting all that!
I was just in shock afterward...
My body was literally numb and I felt exhausted.
