Hello I'm in need of assistance! Who else feels they are in the wrong body? it gets to the point where I'm depressed for days. I've been to a therapist recently, and it just solidified what I has expected years ago--- that I have GID
By the way: I'm a male in a female body

Saw your post and well, I'm in the same situation. Sometimes I wonder who else is like this in my town/city because it does feel really lonely at times. It's hard because many do not care, and others do not understand but I believe, all in all, that as long as you know who you are. Then you'll be fine. Sometimes I wonder why we even have a thing as gender, but as a whole I find myself identifying as male even though I try to convince myself that being male is just a stereotype that was created. Crud, okay my point is: .... Fudge, I don't even know. I suck at talking to people. Just... Hi.

By the way: I'm a male in a female body I explicitly HATE the term "Gender Identity Disorder." It's totally outdated and implies that being transgender means having a mental disease. Gender dysphoria is closer - it's related to body dysphoria, which is the condition in which a person feels that their physical body is entirely wrong for them. This includes feeling discoordinated in their body, among other things.
By the way, I'm transgender too, MTF. Sometimes, the very presence of my male genitals feels so wrong to me that I want to slap them on top of a cutting board and whack them off with a meat cleaver. Other times, I feel like I might be able to keep them even after I'm fully transitioned.

Implying that someone is "wrong" because they don't conform to cis' society rules is stupid and dehumanizing.
