Welcome newcomer! I'm thrilled to meet you! I'm Vialet, the Guild Owner, and I'm here to help you get through the grueling start up portion of joining the guild and get on to the good stuff, the roleplaying!
Okay, let's start off by going ahead and reading the most important part of the process; The Rules! They're pretty standard, we believe, and are there to make sure that your experience, as well as everybody else's is as good as it can possibly be. If you're confused in anyway at all about any of the rules, feel free to contact me or WhitePrinceofWonderland and ask anything that's bothering you. We'll try our best to make sure you understand whatever you're confused about.
Okay, now that you've read the rules, it's time to start the fun part of the process. There's a few decisions to be made when making your first character, and the first of them is going to be where you're wanting to roleplay. Look at the different sections in the guild: In The Glass, The Village of Sleepless Dreams, Gargoyles and Garters, and read a little bit about the places. Try to get to know the guild a little before picking a place, because where you choose to settle is going to define which Families, groups and such will be open to you.
Now that you've picked a section, head on over to the Families, Guilds, and Other Such Fancy page and take a quick look through a small summary of each family available to your section. Each family should link to their family page, and if there isn't a link then the family hasn't been set up yet or might not have a House Head. Be sure to read through the summaries fully, and pick one you like. Go ahead and go to their Family Tree too, just to be sure, as "nobody knows family like family".
Got a group in mind yet? Perfect! Just go a head and fill out the Application for the family or group you have in mind and wait a bit. You should be contacted by the House Head who will give you the go ahead to make your character, or might even ask a few more questions to make your application even better. biggrin
Ready to FINALLY make your first character? It's exciting, right?! Well then, follow me to the Profile Skins to start on your character.
Now, your character has to have a face, right? Well, here in this guild, we don't want any Anime characters (I know, I know) because we like to make it easier for people to imagine your character. So go ahead and scour the internet for your perfect image, and think about your character A LOT in this process. Does your character had strong features? Are they blonde, brunette, do they have BLUE hair? Look for it. Pictures can be manipulated to achieve the right features, but be sure to grab a face. However, we can't have everybody with the same face! Imagine walking down the street and seeing yourself! YIKES!!
So, once you've chosen your face, head over to the Face Claim page to make sure nobody else found them first. Stake your claim on your mug y filling out the form in the first post. I'll Quote you when your face has been saved and you can head back to your profile.
Finish your profile in the Beware The Unseen section with a "Done" in the title and White or myself will come along and look it over for anything. We want your profile to be as good as it can be, so that others can look at it and see your character in the vision that you have of them, so we may ask a few questions, and might even tell you to change a few things here and there, just to be sure nobody godmods by accident.
When your profile has been moved to The Beauty Underneath, you can go ahead and START ROLEPLAYING!
