THE DUCKS ARE SO CUTE AND FLUFFY! whee It's like picking up a ball of fluff instead of a bird eek
I'll get pics when I get back, I need to pick up some stuffs for two more pens for them, poor things are shoved into two brooders atm cause my light bulbs exploded and I didn't realize it. Wall to wall fluffy cuteness is adorable, but not good for pics or for birdies to grow up. 3nodding

Fluffy cuteness aside - what could you possibly need that many ducks/chickens for? emotion_jawdrop Are you starting up a poultry farm? You could easily supply your town with eggs with that many birds!
*has the mental image of you drowning under a tsunami of floof.*

They already buy chicken eggs from me, but expressed an interest in ducks. I'm going to start selling hatching eggs next year, and my plan is to see if the local schools are interested in hatching eggs for in their classrooms. I'm also going to be contacting local bed and breakfast places to see if they want free range chicken eggs for their customers as a selling point, as well as local farmers market things. And... we're working on getting Turkey on the farm too... blaugh I've got 24 eggs in an incubator due to hatch tonight-Friday of 3 types of Turkey. There's a chance they may not hatch though, so I'm not counting on them quite yet.

For a bizarre moment there, I thought you just had a poultry fetish... ninja And the chickies are so cute! I want to cuddle them all! emotion_kirakira Are the ducks/chickens all the same breed? I noticed there are black/brownish ones as well as yellow ones in there...

Lieutenant Turel Bluetabbycat Reaver Of Souls Raziel Oh good, I thought you meant human babies. Disgusting creatures...Don't worry, initially I had the same thought. They make nice appetizers. I could give you some recipes L'infant a la creme.Delicious tenderized baby meat served in a white wine sauce. Choice of vegetables served as a side dish. And to drink... Juice of the babe.A beverage lovingly blended and pressed from freshly crushed babies. I apologize in advance to anyone here who may like babies in a non-devouring way. ninja
