Announcement: I'll reopen the contest when the guild becomes more active. Its not much of a contest if only one person enters. sad
My name is Chosen by the Cave Lion, though you may call me Lion, or Chosen, if you prefer. I am here today because Echo thought I'd be helpful in setting up the guild once more, via recruitment and assisting in spicing the guild up on occasion.
Well, today I've decided to do that! I'm starting a little contest, just to keep things alive while we do our construction and revamping of the guild.
Short stories are simple, lovely things that can inspire our imagination, despite not being a full novel or tale. Myself, I cannot write a longer story to save my life, short's are my favorite!
So, from here on out I will stop rambling, and start giving you information!

~Rules~
1. What should your story be about?
I figure I'll just let you pick whatever you want to write about, and have at it! However, if you are like me, and need some direction, here's some choices for you to pick from!
New beginnings.
Fall of a great hero.
Or maybe something involving a curse?
Just remember to follow the ToS---Pg-13 is about as high as you can go.
2. Is there anything specific I need to do, to enter?
Oh yes. Send the story to me in a PM, with the title of the story as the PM Title.
3. How long should the story be?
At minimum, I would like a thousand words. You can go for a lot more than that--in fact, I encourage it!---but proper grammar and spelling is appreciated! Though lets try to keep it below 15 or 20 thousand words, okay? I don't want to have to read a bunch of novels, when it should be a short story.
4. Can I submit more than one story?
Of course. You can submit three stories, but no more than that!
5. Can I help judge?
Sure, but if you do, you can't submit a story, of course. Just Pm me with the title Read-It Judge-It and we'll go from there! 6. Whats the deadline?
7/3/2013 is the date when I'll end the contest and begin the judging!

Yay! The moment you've been waiting for! Because we all know you lot didn't bother to read all this way just for my sake (even if I did work really hard with this...) so I'll just go on with it.
What do we have behind curtain number one?!
The first place winner will take home a cash prize worth---100,00 gold!
And behind curtain number two?
30,000 gold! Wow, I wonder who is so bloody generous with all of these prizes, random-person-who-I'm-calling-Bob?
