~A traditional ramen shop is sitting in front of the Black Forest off to the side of the shop is a fighting arena (think Cell's arena). The shop is run by NPCs. A sign on the ramen shop lists the names of combatants you can face are listed~

RULES
Thought it might be important to include these
#1. NO GODMODDING (I cannot stress this rule enough) You will be disqualified and banned until I deem otherwise
#2. No double posting attacks Give your opponent a chance to block, dodge, or whatever. If he/she is offline then wait it's not going to kill you.
#3. Post your attack/defense in a reasonable time, if you don't respond within 24 hours you will be disqualified. There are exceptions to this rule. PM a crew member with any reason you may not be able to post regularly.
#4. All crew members are referees you don't like their ruling then tough.
#5. Take a hit, your character cannot dodge or block everything. If you don't want your character's face all bruised then you are in the wrong place.
#6. You get hit you take damage....unless you're a human who just punched a pissed off werewolf in full were-form then you might take damage from the punch you just threw.....
#7. All fights will take place in the arena. PERIOD. My damn ramen shop is not a good place to start a fight.....
#8. Death is not allowed, no seriously no one can die in the arena there are multiple wards to prevent this.
More to come if they are thought of

Seeing the ramen shop come into view drew Phaeton off the path toward the arena. almost uncontrollably, he sped over to the nearest open stool at the bar table. Thrusting his right hand out dynamically, he pointed at the menu on the wall. "I'll have three orders of shio chicken ramen, don't spare the chicken, and yes I said three orders. I'll have a cured egg for each, load em up with scallions, and I'll have black tea to drink if you got it."
The cook at the register was a bit awe struck but shook his head and punched in the order on the register. Before he could name a price he was interrupted by his customer.
Phaeton slapped a 20 down on the bar with a thump, then slid it to the cashier. "I did the math. You got the tea?"
Still shaken up, the cashier nodded, "Hai!" He took the money and placed it in the register, swapping it for a few coins which he attempted to hand to Phaeton.
Phaeton pointed to the tip jar, refusing the change and glancing over to the empty arena while he waited patiently. Another worker placed a large cup of black tea before Phaeton before zipping over to the active pots and stacked up bowls.

It's a shame Trunks only sprang for a flat arena with no seating. This thing doesn't pay for itself, and I'd bet profits from a noodle stand could cover for it, but ticket sales would generate their own revenue, pay for the arena, and area upkeep. Phaeton shifted to resting his head on his hand. Still, the area isn't exactly safe even with the gating and warning signs in front of the forest. These chefs might seem like normal guys but at least some of em probably have nerves of steel to work so close to a dangerous area. Well that and the creepy things in the forest tend to hate being outside the forest. . . . don't think they like to eat ramen either.
Phaeton's train of thought was interrupted along with his view of the arena by a broad tray with three bowls of ramen placed in front of him. "Thanks, looks great," he bowed his head slightly to the server before reaching for the chopsticks balanced across the edge of the center bowl. With three fingers, Phaeton split the chopsticks to make them usable and stirred his soup before taking the first bite.

*walks into the shops back room delivering supplies* ok why the hell do you guys need all this chicken? I don't eat here that often, do I? That and I get other types of ramen to right? Well boss there's this customer who came in and ordered three bowls of shio chicken ramen, with extra chicken so yeah we kind of ran through it quickly. Wait what? Who on earth orders...*peaks his head out and spots Phaeton 2* oh that explains everything. Hey Phaeton! Putting these guys to work huh? *smirks and issues some orders to random workers*

As he was still busy chewing, Phaeton replied to Trunks with a slight wave of his free hand and a thumbs up. Once done with the noodles and chicken, He picked up the bowl to drink the remaining soup. After holding up the bowl over his head to get the last drop, Phaeton cheerfully swapped the bowl in hand for the next one to start eating again.

Iris descended from the sky over the edge of the forest, landing off toward the center of the arena. After looking around briefly, then tapping her foot twice she began to wonder, Who builds a broad square slab of rock in the middle of nowhere with corner spikes? Looking up from the ground, she noticed a small building nearby and a vaguely familiar figure seated in front of it. She leaned into the air and drifted forth to find Phaeton busy stuffing his face with noodles. "Phaeton? Are you busy?"

Phaeton sensed that approaching energy, it was plenty familiar back home but seemed entirely out of place on the outskirts of Old Ashberg. . . . or is it New Ashberg?
Phaeton didn't look up from his bowl or stop to talk at first. Being quick with the chopsticks, he lifted a slice of the remaining chicken breast marinating in his soup and stuck it in Iris' mouth to disrupt her questioning. "Shhh. Savor the goodness," he insisted quietly before returning to his lunch, "and yes, I am busy."

Facing out toward the arena rather than in toward the shop counter, Iris sat down on the stool next to Phaeton to finish the free sample she had been given so abruptly. Seeing as Phaeton insisted, she took her time chewing. "Okay, That's... really good," She admitted, glancing over her shoulder at the big overhead menu for a moment.
Going to pester Phaeton again, Iris resumed, "I don't mean to interrupt, I'm just looking for my brother. Have you seen him?"

Phaeton finished bowl number two, drinking the remaining soup up before stacking the empty bowl into the first. He cocked his head sideways to look at Iris and shrug. "Can't say that I have, squirt. At least not today anyway. If he's even in the area, check the bucket." As Phaeton turned to his food again, a grin shot across his face as he centered the last bowl in front of him. He immediately started eating again.

Iris nodded at first having let Phaeton's words only partially sink in. "Ok, check the... Wait, the what?" She had been about to jump off her seat to go, but was entirely confused by that last part. "What bucket? Why would he be in a bucket?"

Phaeton sighed and shifted in his seat slightly, moving his tray and pointing his chopsticks to the table surface that Iris was only semi-occupying. "I'm probably not supposed to tell you about it, but seeing as you found Old Ashberg on your own, it'd only be a matter of time before you found out."
He used his chopsticks to arrange the noodles and toppings of his ramen to create a sort of makeshift map of the region, poking and drawing in the soup as he explained. "Ok, so here we are, and about half a click north is Ashberg. We're bordered to the south and far west by the black forest. Out here in the west between the town and the forest is the rolling hills, and right about here," He poked once, creating ripples in the broth, "Is the bucket. Don't fly too high out there, or you might not notice it. I'd like to tell you why your brother would keep such an object and location secret from you but well," He centered the tray in front of him again, "It's lunch time. Do be careful over there though." resumed eating once again.

Iris turned around to listen and watch as Phaeton gave directions. His soup representation was a bit strange but clear enough. "Okay. Thanks, Phaeton." She smiled and lightly patted him on the back since she didn't want to distrub him any further. She then turned back around to slide off her stool and walk around the side of the shop before ascending into the air to the northwest.
What's so secretive about a bucket? Phaeton pointed me to the middle of nowhere so it can't be the name of a pub. Even then, brother rarely drinks. We don't have high alcohol tolerance because of what we are.

Finishing the last drop of the last bowl of soup, Phaeton flipped the empty bowl once and stacked it with the other two, centering them on the tray. As he stood up to walk off, he slid the tray to the end of the table where the drop off was, and pitched his tanned chopsticks into the trash.
Taking his drink with him and the occasional sip, Phaeton took a short path back to the faded dirt trail to follow back to town.
