Welcome to the first week of the Speak And Spell project. The first theme has been suggested by Vox Draconis. The theme is potions. This week the focus of potions are on non edible herbal infusions (perfumes, oils, tinctures, washes, ect). Here is the formula for posting your Source Spell: Spell Name:

I have a few potion spells in mind for this. I haven't choosen which one I am going to use yet though. There is a really good one that is in a new spell book I have on my Kindle. I have a few other places still to check though.

Curses, hexes, and other unsavory notions
Spell Information:
Usually tossed in the targets front yard or on his or her property, this substance is also used to sprinkle poppets and grisgris bags.
Add all ingredients to vodka and steep for one week. Then strain and add mixture to one gallon of water.
Pint of Vodka
Lavender
Peel of one Orange
Peel of one Lemon
Whole Cloves
Red Pepper
Black Pepper Yes I choose a curse/hex as the first spell for this project. I have a few ideas on how I can possible work with this. I'm not sure what the Lavender does here.. the rest I sort of understand.

Rework #1
Banish sleep from a home
Materials:
Fire water (a cinnamon scnappes)
Black salt
Lavender
Mint
Water
Spray Bottle
Steps:
In a mortar and Pestal grind lavender, mint and black salt into a fine powder that will dissolve
Mix the lavender and black salt into Firewater
Steep for a week
In a spray bottle mix half water half fire water mixture.
Shake the new mixture vigorously.
Moving counter clockwise Spray the mixture on the doors and windows of the targets home. If you can't get to the home their vehicle or office space works just as well. So long as they are exposed to an inhaling the mixture the spell will work.
As you spray state
"Restless now you shall be
A fair night sleep be gone from thee"

Vox_Draconis There is indeed smile It's an awesome book. I just need to actually purchase it. I don't have access to the books like I did last time. Colleges are great for being able to gets lots of books from across the country for free.

There were bath salt mixtures and bath water mixtures as well as all sorts of washes. Why did you choose this particular potion?

Vox_Draconis Mostly because these days due to a lack of space and a lack of privacy most of my spells are done in the bath tub smile I've done a lot of healing and rebirth work in the bath. I don't think I've really done any other forms of magic in the bath.

Rework #2
Move away spell
Materials:
Black Salt
Water
Spray or other applicator type of bottle
Spell:
Fill the bottle with water
Boil that water in a pot
When the water reaches a boil add a teaspoon of black salt until the salt no longer dissolves in the water.
As you stir and dissolve the salt visualize the person you want to move, moving far away.
When all the salt is dissolved and the visualization has reached its peak strength bottle the potion in the applicator bottle.
When that person is away spray the water around their home and on their property.
