I thought one of their kids was a stray cat so I fed it, now it's hanging around.
O.o
Actually just wanted to start a Sentinels discussion. Anyone want to talk about what they think of the Sentinels? Or whether you hope they eventually make a Sentinels series?

I'm actually rather fond of the Sentinels story arc. Even if it has a much different feel from the "harder" scifi of the original generations, it makes a decent addition to the franchise.
While I'd love to see the series fully animated, I don't think that's a very good idea at this point. What I'd actually prefer would be a full-length comic series (or perhaps straight-to-graphic-novel-series) in modern stylings and quality that would tell the official version of just what happened to the REF in deep space, since HG doesn't seem too fond of the details of the incarnations of Sentinels that we've seen so far.
I'd like to see animated efforts focused on continuing the story of RT into the future.

I thought the Sentinels did a good job of bridging waht happened to the charaters of the REF Mission. I think the introductions of the alien races went a long way to show that though life will be humaniod in the series, it doesn't have to look human or be organic to be considered life. And iI thought it was a better way to tie the Invid and Scott Bernard Tot the Macross Characters, showing us how Scott Grew up away from Earth and that there are two sides to the Invid.

Shadow Chronicles is more of a sequel to The Sentinels. In fact, the recently completed Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles comic miniseries picked up where the Sentinels comics ended, and presented a new version of events to override the older Sentinels novel ending.
The current group at Harmony Gold are not overly fond of The Sentinels, but it seems we're to assume the general line of events happened but perhaps not *exactly* as described in the previous forms we've seen (novels, comics, etc.).

Shadow Chronicles is a nice gap between The Sentinels and The End of The Circle.
Sentinels. Awesome. Too bad they had to scrap the 84+ eps they were making. If i had the money id put it into that, just to see it done.
