Here we will try to answer some of the more popular questions that we get. These questions will generally not related to things covered in threads (essences, weapon abilities, etc.). Instead we will try to clarify those more in the relevant thread.
Should I PM my profile to you or just post it in the guild?
SPACESimply post your profiles in the profile subforum. The crew will look over your profile when they get the chance and send you a PM if your profile has been approved or needs any changes. Adding "Awaiting Approval" or something similar to your title will help us get to your profile faster, as it allows us to quickly know which ones have already been approved and which are still waiting.
What specific weapons/armors/skills/essences can I buy?
SPACEThe Shop lists everything that you can currently purchase for your character. If something is not listed in the shop (for instance Almighty essences), it is not available for purchase. Weapon and armor choices are not limited to a specific list. You may have any weapon or armor that you choose, and they call cost the same.
What are ranks, exactly? What does a rank in an ability get me?
SPACERanks are usually not related to anything specific and instead denote a sort of general power level. You spend them on your abilities or essences in order to make them stronger, or use them to buy familiars or stimgas. Some abilities may say what is gain (such as a rank in the Splitting weapon ability allows your projectile to split once more), however for other abilities it is up to you to roleplay the difference. Some will be fairly obvious, like an essence user with five ranks of B Fire will naturally be stronger than an essence user with three ranks of B Fire. Some may be harder though. For instance, a character with 30 total ranks is roughly twice as powerful as a character with 15 total ranks, however those 30 ranks could be in short range melee abilities and the character with 15 ranks could have long range essences and the Wind Walking ability. So keep that in mind while you roleplay.
Where should I start?
SPACETechnically anywhere, however certain areas are much safer. For instance the Abyssal Plains are extremely dangerous for even stronger characters. The Summer of Dreams region is considered the beginner area, so that is a good place to start for most.
