Posts are to at least be one paragraph, we hope for much more, but anything less than a paragraph is too short. We understand writer’s block, just don’t make a habit out of it
Spelling and grammar:
You do not need to be perfect, but you need to try to make sense, also NO TEXT TALK in posts, you may text talk in ooc though
OOC:
Make sure you have you’re ooc separate from your posts, be sure to do something that lets everyone know that its ooc, like using perenthesis (( )) or brackets {{ }} [[ ]] Also we do Have an OOC thread, make sure you use it
Post format:
You don’t need anything fancy but you’re posts need to at least have the name of your character as well as their status
Status consists of Location and Interaction (who is your Character with) Other information such as your character’s thoughts, health, feelings, or action taken is also nice but it isn’t a requirement
Images:
EVERY POST MUST HAVE A PICTURE OF THE CHARACTER!!! It is a must I hate having to go back to profiles to fins out the appearance of the person whom my character is interacting with. Please NO URL LINKS I want to see the picture on the same page which I’m reading the post. URL links are okay if they are to describe something else in the post like a sword or an NPC, but they should not be used for the main picture
Godmodding
It’s a no-no and I ask that you don’t do it.
Power: I allow abilities that are uber powerful PROVIDED IT ACTUALLY HELPS MOVE THE STORY; however I expect you to be responsible enough to limit the usage of such abilities, or give you character mega weaknesses if he or she has such abilities. You can have godmod abilities without godmodding... I warn you though. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS AND IT WILL BE REVOKED
Killing other people’s Characters:
Don’t do that without their permission… if you wish to kill the character of an inactive RPer then ask the mods and we may or may not grant you that
Auto-hitting, no damage affect, or always dodging:
Also a no-no You are not flawless, you can be hurt, and even the quickest can get hit with an attack.
I will allow a few auto hits for comedic purposes like someone hitting someone upside the head and such, and I may allow it once or twice in battle… but if you intend to auto-hit do ask the person before doing so, this way you don’t have to edit or delete your post
Behavior
Try to keep in line with Gaia TOS That should be obvious
Also try not to argue in OOC, we want this to be a good role playing environment
In this RP Romance and violence are both encouraged, just try not to be too graphic
Profiles
Profiles are to be posted with [AA] or Awaiting Approval, they will be checked by either myself or a Vice Captain
Also note CANONS DO NOT NEED PROFILES... however for cannons to ensure us that you can play the part well if you wish to play a cannon you must send a sample post (like an audition). Create a situation and how the character would act accordingly.
And Lastly… HAVE FUN!
