Personality/Mannerism In his early life Hiraki was an average child with a strong sense of justice and an anti-bullying attitude. He had a normal life up until he was eight years old when he had to leave his home; but before then he was happy, smiled a lot, and was generally peaceful, and for the most part was a mama's boy. However after he was sent to live with his grandparents his world turned upside down and he became to grow darker and colder, and very rarely smiles and hides his emotions. During the time he spent with his grandparents the only bit of light he had in his life was his younger brother and sister, however after their death his life was swallowed up in complete darkness and was full of death and murder. However things have changed, and he's met Hajime, who gave him a reason to live. After he met her his good side re-emerged and he warmed up a lot to her, and will always love and care about her and think of her as a sister.
Personal Skill Hiraki is proficient in quite a few combat styles, enough to stand a chance against an opponent even without a weapon. His preferred weapon of choice is mainly knifes, but he's adapted to and became very proficient with Hajime's ninja sword form. He's also skilled with hunting and survival, since he has lived the past 6-8 years without a home, wondering around the Asian/European continents.
Occupation Former Mercenary. After he met Hajime he avoids doing any dark work for the most part.

History/Background
Hiraki was born to a relatively young couple. Hiraki never knew much about his father, not even his name, or what he even looked like, but from what he heard he takes after his father's appearance. His mother was a young 17 year old pure-blooded witch. Hiraki doesn't know how his parents met, or the circumstances of them getting together, married, and then having him.
His father was a Meister and former member of an underground group. His father was born into the League by his parents who were criminals, however his father soon after meeting his mother attempted to escape from that life, and moved away to Northern Japan and married Hakaru. Normally when a couple gets married the woman takes her husbands name, but in order to hide his past and keep himself a secret, he actually took Hakaru's surname instead. They named their first born son Hiraki Amane. Hiraki was mostly raised by his mother, and never saw much of his father (His father lived somewhere separately and only visited on occasion that way if he's ever caught by the league he won't end up leading them to his family). Hiraki's mother was a Bear type witch, and treated her son just as much as a mother bear would for her young, smothering him with love and protection, and even had Hiraki hibernate with her during winter time, snuggling in bed together as mother and son. It wasn't until Hiraki was five years old that Hakaru became pregnant with twins. Initially Hiraki didn't like his new brother and sister since he wanted their mother's attention more, but he eventually warmed up to them and loved them both greatly.
His life had changed a few months after he turned eight years old. The League managed to catch up to Hiraki's father, and in advance his father warned Hakaru to send their children away so that they would be safe. Hakaru didn't have any family on her side, due to her pure-blood witch family disowning her after marrying a non-witch, so she was forced to send her children away to her husbands parents in China, however that was a terrible mistake that she regrets completely. His grandparents turned out to be terrible people and were at the head of the science and research branch of the league and used Hiraki and his siblings as human test subjects. They took interest in his siblings since they were identical twins and both weapons, instead of a meister or witch; however they were greatly interested in Hiraki since he was half-Witch and half-Meister. They worked to enhance his body and soul to make him the perfect Meister and capable of destroying the league (and to replace it with a league of their own). They enhanced his wavelength, healing factor, endurance, and strength considerably, as well as making him endure direct waves of madness regularly until he built up a considerable amount of resistance to madness (enough resistance to where (for example) he would be capable of standing near a source of madness like Asura's for a few minutes without being too effected by the madness.
Hiraki and his siblings were stuck there for six years. It wasn't until Hiraki was 14 that he finally broke and did what was necessary to protect his brother and sister, and murdered both of his grandparents and destroyed labs, and attempted to flee China to Europe to hide from the league in one of the small countries in the Ukraine peninsula. However they were ambushed halfway by a DWMA faculty teacher who was a member of the league. Hiraki attempted to fight the man, however he was defeated. Although he had a lot of strength and potential, he didn't have much fighting skill (yet) and his brother and sister were killed by the man, and soon Hiraki as well. Shortly after Hiraki died, his body was found by a wondering witch who could sense the strength of his will, and was intrigued by him, and was able to use his strong will and witch blood (in addition to her own witch magic) and pulled him back from Death. It wasn't until 2 days later that he awoke. For several months afterwards he worked with and was trained by the female witch that saved him, until he believed he was ready to set out on his own. Hiraki wanted to completely destroy the DWMA since he believed they were the ones responsible for his brother and sisters' death.
Hiraki's life was full of darkness until he met Hajime, who gave him a new reason to live, and he would go to any length to protect her, and would die to keep her safe.
Appearance Hiraki always wears a thick coat with long sleeves, which has several concealed weapons. Hiraki has two combat knifes located in both sleeves, and also has a harness around his waist that holds another pair of knifes (he always carries at least 4 pairs with him) Hiraki also wears a metal-clad belt around his waist that contains small smoke bombs.

Clan He belongs to two clans, both as unofficial members. He is direct descendent of his mothers' witch clan, however she was disowned; Hiraki's father belonged to one, but Hiraki knows nothing of it.

Abilities
-Due to the experiments he endured growing up he was a natural resistance to madness, and has stronger natural endurance and stamina.
There's still a limit to how much madness he can withstand, and if exposed to madness too long his witch blood tries to reject the madness, which drains the energy from his body and can leave him exhausted.

The same as other meisters.
-Witch healing factor. Hiraki is half-witch and his mother was a bear witch, which would make him Half bear witch. Hiraki has a few inherited abilities from his mother, primarily a witches healing factor, his being a direct result of the animal type. When Hiraki sleeps or rests his body is capable of healing much quicker and easier than a normal humans.
Weakness: Obviously being asleep would make him very vulnerable just like everyone else, and it's not like he can sleep in the middle of a fight. Also just like other bear witches he's compelled to hibernate during the winter, however Hiraki forces himself to stay awake instead, which means that during the Winter time of the year he's more exhausted.
-- Enhanced Palm of the Golem Technique (Offensive): (Shortens as Enhanced Palm Technique) Hiraki concentrates and minute wavelength control. An immense wavelength is kneaded inside the body, and a moment later all of it it is gathered into the Palm. That wavelength is released by putting his palm or by using his fist on the surface, which does a great amount of damage.
-- Flying Assault Strike (Offensive): This technique is simply a falling axe kick. Hiraki concentrates his wavelength combining his strength into his heel and strikes the enemy. Causing mild or severe injury.
Hiraki uses a Golem based fighting style, which packs a lot of force into each blow, however using wavelength fueled moves can drain his energy if he's not careful.
Hobbies
Hiraki has no particular hobbies. Most of the time he's too serious and determined to take out the DWMA. Hiraki does read at night time, and on average only sleeps 3-4 hours a night. ever since Hiraki lost his brother and sister he barely sleeps anymore. His body is so adept to receiving little sleep that he's now able to stay up for at least 18 hours without sleep. However after meeting Hajime he has warmed up more and gets more sleep at night.
Flaws
although Hiraki can stay up for 18-20 hours without sleep his body does tend to ache more and he does feel fatigue at times.
Hiraki doesn't like the dark, he actually fears it, but he doesn't show any emotion towards it and deals with his fear but never accepts it.
During winter time his witch animal instinct is to hibernate, however he forces himself to stay awake which actually takes a toll on him and makes him more exhausted around this time of the year.
Weaknesses
During the winter time his movements are slower, and he has less energy.
He has a soft spot for women and believes strongly in chivalry, for the most part.
Likes
Peace, his lost siblings, reading in the dark, he also likes to be by himself and think. but above anything or anyone else, he loves Hajime and thinks of her as a little sister.
Dislikes
Many things, especially the DWMA and those who are with it. He also dislikes those that are annoying or loud, and also dislikes talking.
