Personality/Mannerism: Sevens is, for all intents and purposes, simply weird. Because he has absolutely no experience with other people aside from his former partner and his parents, he remains very silent around others and sometimes only talks to himself despite being around someone else. His silence can be unnerving as he displays signs of nervousness or even fear when directly addressed. His lack of social graces also demonstrates itself in his disregard for common decency, often openly laughing at someone or being otherwise rude in general. Despite the fact that he is quiet around new people, he is very talkative with himself and people he knows and trusts well. He can be sort of wild even if he hasn't spoken a word to someone. He is generally very loyal to Death's cause and can even be viewed as somewhat jovial in nature. In combat he's very focused and relentless in his assault. He has a flexible style that adapts to his opponent as he observes them making him tougher in longer battles. When his black blood is activated he becomes incredibly chatty and hyper, a contrast to his normally quiet and laid-back attitude. When he does speak he is blunt, abrasive and lacks any form of manners or common decency and does so with a light hispanic accent. He's incredibly nervous around attractive women, though he's been known to blurt out in Spanish when confronted by them.

Background: Sevens was born and raised to be a weapon of the DWMA. His parents, both teachers and one of the most lethal pairs of meister/death scythe, taught him from a very young age how to defend himself and how to be the best weapon he possibly could. Whenever his parents would go off on a mission or be called in to teach, he would sit at home in complete silence all day without moving, eating, or barely breathing and simply meditate. His soul became more powerful as he continued this practice and soon he was able to peer into the void and call upon psychic powers. However, because he never left home he never made any friends and, to this day, finds talking to other people to be a difficult task. His meditation also helped him overcome the inherent madness within him.
He was home-schooled by his parents until he was old enough to attend the DWMA where he was deemed unfit for a partnership and given frequent assignments outside of the classroom. He never resented his fate and even enjoyed the time away from the other students. Due to his trained and condition body, he was often sent to the more dangerous locations for kishin elimination. The psychic was even the spearhead of the team that was sent to the north pole to investigate rumors of a kishin disturbance on Christmas Eve. That fateful mission was when he met his partner, Ivy. As it turned out, a desperate teleportation spell sent a dangerous kishin to the heart of the north pole and the remorseful witch also went to clean up her mess.
Over the next year, Sevens and Ivy formed a deep bond as meister and weapon and she vowed to give up her evil ways and help the DWMA any way she could. They were well on their way to forming a death scythe out of Sevens when they were tasked with obtaining their final soul, that of a witch. The witch they were ordered to hunt and kill, was Ivy's own sister and the meister could not strike her down. When Sevens stepped in to do the deed, Ivy learned what her partner really was and fled across the globe.
Saddened by his partner's disappearance, Sevens returned to solo work eliminating threats to the DWMA, though a witch hunt was deemed too risky for him alone. During his travels he would look for clues to Ivy's whereabouts and eventually learned of a woman who had taken up residence in the hills of the Himalayan mountain range, soon before a rash of natural disasters in the area. Traveling to the place where he believed Ivy to be, he was horrified to find his partner severely injured and staying in a temple with monks.
When she was well enough to speak to him, Ivy told Sevens about the monster that the monks believed to be a curse from the heavens. They called it Apollo because it brought the rays of the sun with it and scorched the snow off the mountainside causing avalanches. The two trained together to fight this beast and when the time came to confront Apollo they were bewildered by the sight of a lonely old man sitting by himself at the top of the mountain. Lacking any facial features, it spoke to their souls and told of a great cataclysm that brought him to the earth from the stars. He spoke of the black void of space and a strange essence that kept him alive. After a great battle at the summit of the mountain, the kishin succumbed and fell into an avalanche.
However, Ivy was gravely injured and she was soon to die. Desperate not to lose his friend again, Sevens communed with her soul every second before she died. He meditated for week as she slowly succumbed to her wounds. Their souls became almost intertwined and when her body left her, her consciousness stayed tied to his and he can call upon her as a spirit guide through meditation. They have not found a way to use her magic, though it has proven useful in weakening the barrier between the two and allowing her to aid him battle by showing him glimpses of the future.
When he returned to the monastery with her body to be buried, the monks told Sevens a story about a wicked woman who wore nothing on her feet even in the freezing cold and spoke like a serpent. The woman tempted men who made pilgrimages to the monastery and got lost in blizzards. They said that one man, who was starving, was revived by her black magic and became the beast Apollo. It was then that Sevens understood his family's curse and he vowed he would remain on the mountain to meditate and remain vigilant, not returning to his world until the time when he would be needed.
Weapon Form: Wind-and-fire wheel. Blood double. Partial weapon claw(s). His natural elemental release is black fire. Sevens will always return to his meister if thrown by one.
Soul Resonance form: A large ring-blade which can be thrown, swung, or used as a close-body acrobat style weapon (think Tira from Soul Calibur).
Soul Color: The same turquoise blue as his jacket.
Weapon Type: Assasin/warrior
Fighting Style: Sword combat - Sevens' preferred method of fighting alone utilizes a regular steel katana and kenjutsu. He can use Psychic Storm with his katana, making him a good mid to long range opponent.
Unarmed combat - Sevens' prefers to kick when he is unarmed as his arms are what transforms in his half weapon form. He can use his half weapon form claws to slash at the opponent.
Blood Trance - When Sevens' black blood is active, he becomes wild and unpredictable in battle, he's even been known to accidentally damage allies. He is fast and acrobatic and uses Blood Doubles of his weapon form or Blood Vines to attack.
Weapon Form - When using Sevens as a weapon the first instinct is to use him as a long range thrown weapon, but he can be just as useful in close combat as he is at range. Unlike normal wind-and-fire wheels, Sevens can be held by the cross shaped intersection in the middle and used as a projectile weapon that will return to the thrower on command.
Flaws: His true psychic powers, save Aura, require intense meditation to use and thus are effective only outside of combat.
Weaknesses: Being an autonomous weapon, Sevens is not as strong as a meister/weapon combination of the same level though he's a high level weapon. He cannot control his soul like a meister and thus cannot utilize his black fire without a partner, although he can create blade-like ripples in the air, Psychic Storm, by focusing his soul locally to create a sharp point.
Weapon Abilities: Black Blood - A curse of the Velazquez family. In its dormant state, it grants passive buffs to all of Sevens' physical attributes. He can enter Blood Trance to activate the full effects and utilize the standard set of abilities. When being used a weapon in blood trance he confers the black blood's powers to his meister through soul infection and can also make a duplicate of his weapon form called a Blood Double.
Aura - Sevens' psychic ability to visualize a person's soul around them. It shimmers around them at the same frequency and color as someone's actual soul. This is mostly useful for low-visibility or stealth situations as it has a limited range that is not affected by physical obstacles such as walls.
Psychic Storm - A named technique that Sevens developed during his time with monks before confronting Apollo. He can focus his soul at a point in his body or anything connected to it and use it to create a blade-shaped projectile in the air. The projectile is swift and sharp and can slice on impact. This technique took a long time and intense training.
