I was wondering if any one here had a favorite healing technique? A lot of the magical practices I have engaged in over the years have been based around the concept of healing. For me healing is as much physical as it is spiritual. Sometimes there are also mental aspects to be dealt with. So with that being said:
What are you favorite healing techniques?

I had my level 1 reiki attunement a couple of years ago now and I think using those techniques on myself has to be a favorite method for healing these days, that and charging up the bath water with energy using the reiki techniques.

I got mine about 4 years ago. I want to gain my Master and my master teacher attunements in Reiki. I also want to get other healing training like IET and Polarity as well as Shamanic stuff.

The first few months and events I attend are going to be crucial in the success of my company. I just also want to be able to offer healing services reasonably priced within the state.

I like reiki. I should be using it more, and I should probably be a master by now too, but things have been hectic. I like using that, but I also like using crystals for healing as well. Same concept, but a little different.

Kellieta I like reiki. I should be using it more, and I should probably be a master by now too, but things have been hectic. I like using that, but I also like using crystals for healing as well. Same concept, but a little different. There is a form of healing like Reiki which trains in the use of stones and crystals for healing. Its called Integrated Energy Therapy. It works with both of them to heal body and spirit. I personally have started to use crystals in my full Reiki body ceremonies. Within the full ceremony I have also started the use of herbal work though incense.

Personally I enjoy working with plants, as I think they can offer wonderful physical and spiritual healing when used right. If I see someone sick either with a cold or with life in general, I'm that person in the room offering them tea or telling them what -thing- they should eat.

Most of my work with plants is in incense and magical tincture forms. Though the incense has been a very powerful aid in my healing practices. I'm researching and reading about the physical healing properties of some plants. I want to learn how to make healing salves for cuts, burns, and mussel pains. I'm also going to be looking into some herbs for more mental healing aspects as well. Other herbs good for depression. Lavender and Calendula(Marigold) are two I use for that. Saint Johns wort is one I am warry about using as it is well documented that herb counteracts BC measures.

You may have read this at other sources before, but if you are looking for a great book on the medical uses of plants, Encylopedia of Herbal Medicine by DK Natural Health is wonderful. Has a brief history of medicine as well as over 500 plants listed with colored pictures given of everything by there extensive information given. Also, how to make different things like infusions or syrups. There's even a spot in the back where you can look up like "Panic Attacks" or "Minor Bites" where they simply list all the herbs that can be used for that and how to take them. It's my favorite reference book.

I use Kitchen Witchery by Marilyn F Daniel, The Herbal Medicine Makers Handbook A Home Manual by James Green, The Master Book of Herbalism by Paul Beyerl, Cunninghams Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs By Scott Cunningham, The complete book of incense, oils, and brews by Scott Cunningham, and Rosemary Gladstar's Herbal Recipes for Vibrant Health: 175 Teas, Tonics, Oils, Salves, Tinctures, and Other Natural Remedies for the Entire Family by Rosemaru Gladstar.
