Match Number 6: Normal Match (First Round Tournament Match)

The titantron suddenly comes to life to show video clips of various hammer head sharks swimming around. The fans roar with cheers as they know what this means. The PWS Tag Team Champion, Cartwright, makes his way to the ring head-banging as if he is listening to some funky metal shizzle like Justin Bieber or Ninki Minaj. The fans respond by head-banging also, as it is the cool thing to do when Cartwright enters the arena. Most of the front-row head-butt the barricade, so the sound of steel echoes around the arena so loudly that you would think you were at a train station or golf course. He is wearing his brand new t-shirt, exclusive to PWS, to the ring. On the front it says HAMMER HEAD! and on the back it says STOP! HAMMER TIME! It really is a very funny reference. I just bust a gut typing it.
Cartwright enters the ring with a microphone and smiles for his adoring fans. They chant, 'HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD! HAMMER HEAD!', which makes Cartwright very, very happy. About as happy as when he pushed his ex-girlfriend down the stairs for being pregnant. He head-butted that girl good after the fall too. Right in the gut. That's what you do when you live the extreme life of a wrestler. It's just a natural progression. Chicks have to know their place especially when they think they can get a kid out of you.
I need you to hear this loud and clear The line and the sand is drawn and I have no fear When I see red all I need is a reason to set me off To drop this bomb and pick yourself off the ground
Cause I'm a badass And you don't want to clash Cause your mouth's writing checks that your face can't cash Cause I'm a badass And this warning's your last Just cross my path and I'll drop you fast
Following the Entrance of The Talented One out to the ring, the arena was filled with the sound of Badass by Saliva as Stephan Thompson makes his way out from the back, looking out into the crowd as he hits the top of the ramp, rolling his shoulders out as he bounces back and forth on his toes loosening himself up for the match at hand. He would make his way down the ramp and slide into the ring quickly getting up to his feet as he stared down the man who at one point in his life, apparently performed a do-it-yourself abortion in his basement....but be that as it may we still have what looks on paper to be a great match-up getting ready to get under way here.

D.I.Y abortions are so the way forward! Hospitals take too long to get the job done and Cartwright is pretty good with a coat hanger, he might as well put his skills to good use. Nothing says "This guy is a bad-a**" more than having your theme tune say it for you, just in-case people were wondering what your character was meant to be as you enter the arena! Hammer Head Cartwright is ready for this match as the bell rings, you can tell this because he is head-banging against the turnbuckle.
Thompson leaves very little to the imagination when it came to picking a theme song, he wanted everyone to know how great he thought he was. He was however, very untested so saying that he was a rookie trying to compensate was an understatement. Why else would he have called out all 3 members of The Animal Kingdom following his victory at Amity Island. He would instead be squaring off againt one of this business most interesting individuals...never a dull moment in a match when Cartwright is involved. and Thompson would look to keep his train of momentum rolling as he looked to knock Cartwright off in the opening round of this tournament and Thompson would step into his corner as the referee called for the bell to kick this match-up off.

Thompson shouldn't be worrying about lame-arse animals like Foxes, Owls and Wolves when he is in the ring with the mightiest shark of them all, THE HAMMERHEAD! Thompson fancies himself as a newbie, so we shall see just how much of a newb he is tonight! Will he have the knowledge and experience to compete in a match with somebody as PG-friendly as Cartwright? We're about to find out! The bell rings and Cartwright looks across at some fresh opposition now that he is done headbutting the turnbuckle!
Thompson isn't exactly sure why Cartwright was pounding his head on the turnbuckle, but as the bell rang he would come face to face with The Talented One for the first time in his career, and would look to step to the center of the ring and offer Cartwright a collar and elbow tie up as the match gets underway.

Let's see if the first time is painful for Thompson! Cartwright charges towards Thompson, puts on the brakes as he becomes a foot away from him and then happily accepts the tie-up with a big, cheesy grin on his amazing face.
Thompson would try and push the man forward looking to back him into the turnbuckle before looking to attempt a knife edge chop right across Cartwrights European chest!

Thompson powers Cartwright backwards into his turnbuckle. The referee calls for the break and Cartwright raises his hands up, being a good sport. But this Stephan fellow is a jerk, who chops Cartwright across the chest! SMACK! Cartwright covers his chest with both arms instantly.
Stephan would not care that the crowd was booing him, or that Cartwright was being a good sport in this match. He cared so little about Cart's sportsmenship in fact that he looked to toss The Talented Ones hands away from his chest looking to light him up a second time with a second chop hoping to hit the exact same spot a second time.

SMASH! Cartwright is struck again across the chest by Stephan's hand, making his chest grow redder still! He yells in pain!
Thompson would then stoop down and drop his vertical base low enough to aim three straight arm punches into the midsection of The Talented One looking to inflict some damage to Cartwright's ribs and abdomen in the early goings of this match. Not a very flashy tactic, but effective nonetheless.

OUF! OUF! OUF! Each punch causes Cartwright to jump up into the air from the impact of the shots! He drops to his knees on the final blow! He holds his mid-section, because it hurt!
