I found a ridiculously simple method of using your third eye and expanding your consciousness. You know how when you close your eyes you see colors and reflections of colors from the light around you in the blackness? Use that to your advantage and let them take whatever forms they may. Go into deep meditation, light meditation. Whatever meditation. As long as you can relax your body. Focus on your third eye/brow chakra. It's basically, around or at center of forehead above your eyes. Make sure you stay grounded now...

Here comes the easy part. Envision, an eye... Right there. This eye, keeps growing and as it grows and grows. Your third eye grows. Picture it starting small and getting bigger, only to start small and get bigger again like a loading bar if you like. Or picture it starting small then gradually getting bigger.

It's just using some simple visualization to work with a chakra. That's it. But you know what? It just worked for me.

It sounds like you are opening the neirka in this exercise. Its an important step if one ever wishes to really explore the spiritual realms.

OH and to everyone else. START WITH YOUR ROOT AND TAKE IT SLOW WITH YOUR THIRD EYE BE PATIENT. .... I see this as common sense with how much I practice but some people are newer.

Almost drove myself permanently mad once by neglecting my lower chakras and expanding my upper chakras. True story. No one taught me better.

The Neirka???

Yeah. It is the gateway to the mental realms and spiritual realms. It exists in our mind. There are many different ways to open this gate. This is really what opening the third eye is about. The third eye is the chakra most closely associated with psychic powers and abilities. That for me says that having an opened or flowing third eye chakra is really essential for almost any magical work that can be done.

There is a book you may be interested in called The Thirteen Gates of Witchcraft by Christopher Penczak. He covers 13 or more different types of techniques which can be used to get into trance and meditative spaces. He does address kink and sexuality within the book as well as pain and seclusion.
