Months had gone by since his leaving of Kranila, The Forest Nation. Good riddance, he thought. The Waktu in human skin stood in the center of the office. His office to be precise. His sharp gaze traveling over the walls, the sparse furnishings...He was told that he needed to decorate. To 'bring this drab office to light '... His king's words.. Not his own. He supposed that he was right..Rashid was not one for decoration. Hadn't really the chance to with all that had gone on in the months following up to this point.
The fighting, the countless greetings of the higher ups.. It was alot for the waktu that stood alone, or so he thought. Through it all, he had prevailed. He was now Captain. One who was the teacher of the academy, the ones that people normally went to before they sought out the king and queen. Or in this case, the kings... Although Raphael was more a giant, slutty Queen. Someone that Rashid would lay his life down for nonetheless. He owed him alot. Thinking of his kings, Rashid thought back to the last time he saw them...a few days? A week? Maybe more? He never was one for keeping good time.. His eyes squinted together at the thought..He would go find them. Once done with that, he would come back and decorate his office.

Akane entered the office like Rashid told her to, waiting for him. She was so happy now, the feeling that she's doing a very important mission hid that wrath deep inside her, so it didn't bother her now. This is nothing like killing a boar! She thought, looking around the place and hoping that she won't have to wait for the boy for very long.

Coming off the training grounds, Rashid made his way to his office...Well..His office and the other captains, but he supposed the other would not like this bland office very much. Before he made it inside, his hand froze on the door handle. A smile touched his lips as he thought to play a little..game. It would be harmless to the female human, but she would be undoubtedly confused as to why he was doing such a thing. The scene of the bland office would transform around her, the walls, the floor, even to the ceiling..would all strip away into blackness. Then..She would begin to hear the sound of howler monkeys in the distance, along with the unique sound of Cicadas.. Trees would appear all around them, along with sunlight streaming through the canopy to give a shadowed view of each of the people within the area. Rashid would appear hidden within one of the trees shadows..His green and yellow eyes be the only thing gleaming through. Twas but all an illusion, the illusion of the forests of kranilla..Her homeland, once Rashids also..He also conjured up the feel of the humidity, and the smells that would come from the forests. From the shadows, his voice called out. "This is what we both know and love...tell me girl, what does one come here for? Why does a human seek me out?" His voice deepened, taking the sound of something very old, ancient even..Here Rashid started to peel away little by little of who he really was. Not just some adolescent mage, but something much much older, something not entirely human, or human at all, something much older then she, and something that will live much past the span of life for a human.

Suddenly, everything around Akane changed and blackened out, which caused the girl to panic. Not for long, though, because she heard some familiar sounds and soon she saw the landscape that appeared to be the Kusana city. What sorcery is this? She thought, as she searched around the place, trying to find a clue of what's going on. Akane saw the lights, but she didn't understand that it was actually eyes, so she didn't pay much attention to them. She did like the place, though. She wasn't actually born and raised in Kusana, but she did get attached to it, so seeing a familiar place was nicer than the unknown Uuma city. When Akane heard the voice, the panic came back, stronger than before. She thought that it was Rashid doing this, but the voice... She did hear something familiar in it, but not sure what. It was so old, so wise and so not human. The question seemed like something only Rashid would ask, though, so she was trying to comprehend the idea that these voices belong to the same person. And though she would have been really annoyed by the mage calling her a girl, it felt like this voice had the right to say so. "Well, as I said to you before,"If it really was the same person, I was sent by the queen of Kusana. She though, that you..." She made a pause. Akane didn't even know why she was doing this exactly. "Well, she was interested in where you had gone, so she assigned me, an assassin, to track you down. So here I am." She said, smiling nervously. Akane was quite afraid, since Rashid was something unknown to her, a mystery. So he had an obvious advantage, 'cause Akane didn't have anything to hide. "Any chance that I can hear some stories from you now? You seem to know plenty."

Still within the shadows of his magical creation, Rashid gave nothing but silence for a few moments, silence that would feel like an eternity for the young women. Finally he spoke, "You are definitely a resilient human, I give you that. " From within the shadows, he gave what would be assumed as a chuckle.. But for what, nobody knows..maybe her actions? Maybe a memory of his past? He continued on, " As long as your here, you might as well know...Your goal is complete assassin, you've found me. " His eyes narrowed in on her, "I will however, not be coming back..It was neither the time, nor place for me to be... I seek power human, power to survive, power to come out on top for whats to come, you would be wise to do the same. " All the while in the midst of speaking, his voice faded in and out at different areas around the forest.. not giving an accurate location of himself. What was he talking about exactly? Did he know that she had a sin inside of herself as well? Just what was going on with this ancient being?

Akane was waiting for him to say something, but it was definitely hard for her. The rage inside her was about to come out since it was getting bored, but Rashid finally started talking, which made the girl to keep her original self. Akane understood his sentence as a compliment, so she smiled. The other one made her a bit angry, though. "That's where you're wrong... Rashid." That's the only name she could come up with to call him, since 'boy' was obviously not suitable anymore. "My mission was to bring you back as well." She had no idea how to make him go with her, though, it seemed impossible. Rashid's last words left her thinking for some time. She did want to become more powerful, or at least that thing inside her wanted to. "Wait!" Akane shouted, looking around, since it felt like everything's fading away. "If we both need the power, why not help each other?" She asked, hoping to get his attention. She doubted Rashid would actually be interested in training with her, since it would probably be a waste of time for him, but certainly not for her. Akane had some hopes that he also knows something about that wrath inside her. Maybe it happened to him too?

The eyes of the old one rested on the girl once more, looking her over with a little intrigue thought. She was bold, he liked that in a sort of amusing way.. Defied him at every turn, when most who did so would be turned inside out by one of the many spells that laid within his repertoire. He knew that part of her mission was to take him back..for what, he did not know...It was the queen that ordered it.. It had to be. He didn't think anyone in that lollygag of a kingdom would defy Kora. The thought of her drew his attention away even more.. An acrid taste coated his tongue. Sneering, he looked back at the human. "Was it Kora that sent you?" He asked, wanting to know. Following up with an answer for her question as well. This time, he gave a light laugh at her remark for helping each other.. "I have more power in my entire body then you would know what to do with.. What on earth could you do to help me? He asked, amused. He was not trying to be rude by the power statement, just stating a fact..The power he held was that of a mage. By blood, and by birth.. He was a dark elf, hidden under the disguise of a white male human..She could not see past his veil of which he hid his true form behind, he made sure of that with his magic.. The dark elves where known to some as the embodiment of magic. Lastly, his powers differed from hers.. that is all he meant. "What is it that you seek Akane? Do you seek my power? My guidance?" He said, using her name for the first time, instead of human, or girl. Maybe she would open up to him, so he would know what to do with her.

Akane got used to this Rashid's created environment, so she wasn't that scared anymore. "Yes, Kora sent me here." She answered his question a bit surprised. Did he hope that the queen would change in such a short time or did he just want to make sure? She wasn't surprised when Rashid said that he's way more powerful than her, but it did make her a bit sad. "I understand that I seem weak and all, but I have..." She remembered that anger inside her that comes out whenever it wants to. "I have this thing in me, that seems to take over me sometimes. Since I met you, this old and powerful creature, I thought that you could help me take control of this wrath inside of me." This wasn't Akane's plan at first, but now that she saw that taking Rashid back to Kranila is mission impossible, she might just get at least some use of this travel. The girl was afraid to say something about that anger to the queen, but she somehow felt that Rashid might just help.

Eyebrows raised high, Rashid was honestly surprised at what he was hearing, kind of angry... and definitely intrigued. Just then, a stirring happened within him. The pain intensified as Rashid was doubled over, hands on his knees in pain... He was silent throughout the entire thing, Akane would probably think he was ignoring her again.. But it was his own Sin that was moving within him, it's own curiosity looking to Akane. She had one of these inside of her? Interesting indeed. - 'I'll let you out after, so you can feast until your fill... ' - He said to the beast within his mind. The sin inside of him rumbled with glee. As long as you promised food to this sin, he would be sedated for awhile. " Akane.. " Calling out her name, almost sounded forced..like he was in pain. If she could see him, she would see that his face was scrunched up, and he was sweating profusely .. He, like her..did not have control over his sin..not like he does his life. It was one of the few things that really bothered him. But would he let her know that he has minimum control? No, probably not. " Why should I help you? What your doing...would be, could be considered treason on my part. Whats to stop you from learning from your training, going back to that forest hot box, and coming back with orders to attack Judai?" His voice taking a bit of an edge, wanting to know.

Akane was waiting impatiently, she wanted Rashid's help and was afraid that the silence means no. When he called her, the girl got scared. It felt like Rashid's about to die, but she had no idea how to help him, since she didn't even see him. Maybe he has this anger inside him too? A strange thought crossed Akane's mind, which made the girl want to get to know this unknown creature even more. The eagerness to train with him made her more confident and straightforward. "Of course, there is a chance of me betraying you. But lets face it - you can do the same. You made it clear that killing me would be quite an easy job for you." She answered him. It did feel like it wasn't her talking, like her sin mixed with her usual personality. She didn't even understand that yet, since she never had an actual conversation with it. Anyway, she thought that this attitude will help her get Rashid's attention, so she kept it up. "So I think we're even on this one."

Giving a low reverberating chuckle, Rashid crossed his hands back over his front... The pain lessening from before, going down by the minutes that passed. "No..Not even close to even." His voice rang out, carrying over the illusion that he made... In seconds, the animals that he made apart of his illusion starting uprising, an ear-splitting shriek would be all she could hear, Rashid had taken himself out of the illusion as he set flame to the forest..ultimately, he was winding it down. She would be able to feel heat from such thing, making it seem that much more perfect.. As the fire surrounded her, a clear cut "snap" of Rashid's finger could be heard all around..suddenly, the two were standing in one of the offices of Judai. Hours, had passed that felt like nothing more then mere minutes. Having the moonlight shadow him, his only features visible where his glowing green and yellow eyes.. Twisting the object to change him back to human form, he stepped out at the young boy... A gleam in his eyes that suggested his true age, rather then the current appearance. " You have a deal young one.. We shall train together." Hands behind his back, he gave her a mischievous smile. Letting her know that the time they would spend together, would be anything but ordinary...

Akane was sure that Rashid's not going to train with her when he said the words. So she was about to shout at him when she heard this loud, piercing shriek that made her even more mad. And then the heat surrounded her, it felt like burning in hell. Though the feeling seemed to be coming from the inside - all these emotions and that unpleasant environment was the perfect time for her sin to come out. Akane returned to the office with Rashid, but she saw everything through a fog. It looked like she's going insane - she was shouting. Not because of pain, though, it was pure anger. She looked in Rashid's eyes, trying to take control of her body, since it now belonged to the sin. She didn't notice Rashid changing, it was too hard for her to see anything. She did hear his words, though, and they were a relief. "It seems... I really need... that training... now." Akane said, struggling. The girl was so scared now, she experienced such powerful sin's control for the first time. Although her facial expression was full of anger, fear and plea for help was seen in her eyes.

The crazed look in her eyes, the fear in her voice..told Rashid that she was close to losing it. It was a somewhat pleasant surprise that she had at least a small bit of control. "The easiest way to deal with your sin..is to make a deal with it. We are not stronger then our sins,and we never will be." He replied, his voice serious. " I don't care what some of our fellow hosts say..this is a curse..a curse put upon us for some unknown reason.. Maybe we were chosen?"His hands behind his back, he began to walk back and forth at a slow pace. "Whatever the case, we either live with it, or die because of it... You will be hunted Akane Saito.. Hunted for the rest of your life for the being inside of you..are you prepared for that? " He asked, his gaze showing that he was in two different places of thought.

A deal? What could this thing possibly want from me? She was thinking while trying to control the anger. What do you want from me? Akane tried to ask directly. No one answered, but she was sure someone or something was listening. What do you want?!She was shouting in her mind as angry as she could. This time there was an answer. It seemed like the sin didn't want to talk to her, like she was too weak and pathetic to waste it's breath on, so it showed her what she wanted to hear. The images changed quickly in her head and all she could understand was that it wanted to hide in her body, to be shielded from it's enemies. Akane didn't know how she could possibly help it with this, but she tried to hide it. I can. I will. She said to the sin loudly. But in order to get stronger, I need to be in control of myself! She shouted. It seemed like Wrath was thinking, so Akane was still not in control. But after some time the girl started to calm down, feeling herself again. That's when she finally heard Rashid's words. "I have no other choice but to be prepared." Akane said to him. Her voice was changed now, like she became a completely different person in these few minutes. I will train and get as strong as I can and I will protect you. She said to Wrath. Akane knew she had no other choice. If she's not going to help the sin, it could easily end her. Just make it worth my while. Akane heard it for the first time.
