Traits, are the personalized skills that are pulled directly from the character's soul. These special abilities have advantages and disadvantages to them. Each of these abilities can either help a character through the increase of stats or harm a character through the decrease in stats or other abilities that is found deeper in the Souls of the wielder. Everyone is able to take 2 Traits of their choice (unless another choice you've made in your character creation stats otherwise). Be warned some abilities have requirements that must be filled before one is able to be used in rp or approved to have that trait during their character approval process.

██████████████████████████████Enhanced Endurance:

Description: The ability to survive without supplies, resources, energy, or other items for an extended amount of time. Users can operate on a low power setting, allowing them to operate for an extended amount of time. Those with Enhanced Endurance are able to ignore most of the injuries they sustains in battle (much like a berserker), not suffering any debilitation despite having multiple slash wounds on their body.

Advantages:

[x] Reiatsu consumption uses 50% of the normal amount. (Kido, Shunpo, Shunko, etc)
[x] When the user has less than 25 Reiatsu points and have more than 50 Mobility points they can convert 50% of their mobility points over to their Reiatsu.

Disadvantages:

[x] Kido based skills cause half of the original damage.

██████████████████████████████Enhanced Strength:

Description: The power to exert great strength from their muscles. Users have incredible ability to defy weight limitations of the member of their race, but not completely break them. Dense, lengthy, or overweight items are easy to move and simple to use in nearly any manner. Users can crush, lift, throw, or catch items of great weight.

Advantages:

[x] The users strength goes above that of any normal Soul Reaper, to the point they can effortlessly carry three lifeless bodies over their shoulder that equals up to three times their own body weight.
[x] The physical strength stat for those with this trait is double of what their actual stat states.

Disadvantages:

[x] Kido Mastery level cannot exceed Expert.

Technique Gained:

Technique Name: Asclepius
Requirements:
1st Use: Hakuda must be at Expert Level
2nd Use: Hakuda & Zanjutsu must be at Expert Level
3rd Use: Hakuda & Zanjutsu must be at Master Level
Consumption:
1st Use: Reiatsu decrease by 15 points
2nd Use: Reiatsu decreases by 25 points
3rd Use: Reiatsu decreases by 50 points
Technique Description: The Asclepius is also dubbed 'Snake Bite' by those who have seen the strength this cursed power possesses. The user gains an incredible superhuman strength, which gives them a gripping force of 2,000 kg in each hand. While powering up and storing their Spiritual Energy into their right hand, the astral outline of a giant snake can be seen surrounding them. They can use the snake to attack opponents as well and seeing as their snake go to the length of the size of a massive skyscraper and into the sky, it's safe to assume that they can casually destroy skyscrapers and more with this attack. As stated its a cursed power, and by using it, it has rules. It can only be used three times in a single battle, any more than that and the muscles in the users arm will be destroyed along with the major bones making them unable to move their arm let alone lift a finger. The curse of Asclepius is that the number or times Asclepius is used in a person's life is the number of years it takes off of the user's life.

██████████████████████████████Enhanced Durability:

Description: The power to sustain numerous blows of internal or external assaults. The user's physical durability (ability to endure/resist damage) is extremely high, allowing them to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects.

Advantages:

[x] Extremely hard to damage physically within normal means. The user can instantly stand after being sent flying for miles and crashing through buildings as if nothing happened depending on the strength and skill of the opponent.


Disadvantages:

[x] Enhance Durability only last for 5 post in a row after that it takes a 5 post cool down before the ability can be used again.

██████████████████████████████Enhanced Reiatsu Recovery:

Description: The power to function for long periods of time without tiring or straining oneself. The user's body is naturally a spiritual oasis making them highly impressionable to spiritual energy. These people are able to control their Reiatsu on the levels of masters, conserving their energy for other skills to use later down the line.

Advantages:

[x] Reiatsu recovery is double per post a character is standing still recovering.
[x] Reiatsu based skills consumption is half of the original.

Reiatsu Ability Gained:

[x] Reiatsu gains the ability to give off Psychological Effects on the opponent. Fear, Paralysis, and Phantom Pain.
[x] Fear, is Reiatsu at its most basic level can instill fear in others when it is very high (in comparison to the one feeling it). Willpower is the simplest way to fight this effect.
[x] Paralysis, is a form that can only be used when your Reiatsu is higher than the opponents. When a Spiritual being of high Reiatsu chooses to they can paralyze an opponent just by focusing pressure through their stare or presence. Paralysis only last for as long as the user keeps eye contact on the target, they are unable to perform any skills that require them to focus their Reiatsu at this point.
[x] Phantom Pain, is a form that can only be used when your Reiatsu is higher than the opponents. Your spiritual pressure can make an opponent feel as though they are being attacked though nothing is physically happening to them.

Description: The power to function for long periods of time without tiring or straining oneself. The user's body is highly resistant to the build-up of spiritual energy in their bodies, allowing them to be physically active for considerably longer periods of time than the average member of the user's species. This even grants them the ability to change their Reiatsu's shape and form even its elemental affinity.

Advantages:

[x] The user is able to have a single elemental affinity to their Reiatsu.
[x] The user's Reiatsu based skills attacking power is double the original strength.


Techniques Gained:

Technique Name: Ishohi (Will's Flame)
Consumption: Reiatsu decrease by 5 points per post Ishohi is activated
Technique Range: Short to Mid-Range (0 – 10 Meters)
Technique Description: Ishohi is a powerful technique that is granted to those who have great power in controlling their Reiatsu and causing it to catch a blaze creating a last resort defense around themselves when they can't defend themselves. The user's body becomes wreathed in intense red flames, which circle about them as large, twisting columns.The flames burn at very high levels, and can only be extinguished by removing the source that feeds them -- spiritual power, or by engulfing them in stronger flames. The flames don't extinguish themselves unless spiritual power is removed, meaning once they spread to a foes body, getting rid of them becomes very difficult. The flames sap the foes spiritual power, using that energy to feed its existence, though they don't actually cause physical harm. Given long enough exposure even the most powerful of individuals can fall victim to this technique.

██████████████████████████████Vizard:

Description: The Vizard could be considered the polar opposite of Arrancar, in that they started as Shinigami who then later crossed into the realm of the Hollows, gaining Hollow-like abilities. This process is referred to as Hollowfication and was rare enough prior to the Winter War that only ten such examples of this phenomenon existed, nine of whom where afflicted by Aizen, with the other being afflicted by Bansui, without Aizen's knowledge. Vizard access their Hollow powers by donning a mask specific to them, which supplements their Shinigami powers with Hollow powers, granting them a dual-based spiritual output as well as some distinctive Hollow powers, namely Cero. A commonality amongst the Vizard is that they each possess an Inner Hollow who must be subjugated before its power can be used freely.

Requirements:

[x] Character is not legally allowed to be a member of the 13 Court Guard and is branded a traitor for obtaining Hollow Powers
[x] Character's bio must state how they came in contact with the Hollowfication Virus which creates Vizards. Profile must also explain how they subjugated their Inner Hollow.
[x] Once a Vizard has been found out by a Shinigami in their division or by another division after hiding their forbidden abilities they are forced to leave the Soul Society or they will be killed on sight.
[x] Vizards cannot obtain this virus within RP unless its a specific event created by the Guild Captain.

Hollowfication Time Limit:

[x] Mask Time Limit – 10 Post Max (15 minutes) 5 Post Cool Down before use again.

Advantages:

[x] They gain a Hollow power and are able to keep all their Shinigami Powers
[x] Their Hollow skill they gain counts under Kido.

Disadvantages:

[x] Characters can't openly use their Hollow skills in front of Shinigami without being forced to fight a Shinigami as a traitor for obtaining Hollow Powers.
[x] Can be killed on sight just for being a Vizard. Also once they are a known Vizard they are unable to live in the Soul Society

██████████████████████████████Shunpo:

Description: For a Shinigami and Visored, Shunpo is the greatest expression of the Hohō technique. However, there are variations even within Shunpo that only master Hohō practitioners can use, or even be aware of. It is a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time.


Energy Consumption:

[x] Reiatsu decrease 5 points per post use.
[x] Mobility decrease 5 points per post use.


Advantages:

[x] Faster than most Hoho users excluding those who are Masters of Hoho.
[x] Able to obtain more Hoho skills.
[x] Able to have Shunko as a Trait (Females only)
[x] Able to have Ido as a Trait. (Males only)

Disadvantages:

[x] Unable to learn the Shukuchi

██████████████████████████████Shunko (Flash Cry):

Description: Shunkō is a rare and powerful technique, which focuses on body augmentation by forcefully driving pressurized Kido into one’s arms and legs. The Kido itself can also be controlled and fired at opponents from the body, resulting in powerful explosions of pressurized spiritual energy. In addition, one can direct the Kido onto specific areas of their body to make the protection exceedingly more concentrated. The worn uniform will rip apart at the back and sleeves when used, due to the energy being focused around the arms and back.

Energy Consumption:

[x] Reiatsu decrease by 25 points per post use.
[x] Mobility decrease by 25 points per post use.

Requirements:

[x] Must be Female
[x] Must have Shunpo as a Trait
[x] In order to use during a battle Kido skill level must be at Expert Level, Hakuda skill level must be at Master, and Hoho Skill level must be at Expert Level. If these conditions are not met Shunko is considered incomplete and can only be used in the Rp for training in order to perfect it.

Advantages:

[x] A single usage last for a total of 4 post before the user has to reapply this trait (technique).


Disadvantages:

[x] A single in-perfected Shunko usage is 2 post before the user has to reapply this trait (technique).
[x] Unable to learn Ido


Techniques Gained:

Technique Name: Hanki (Reverse Demon Mutual Cancellation)
Requirements: Hakuda and Hoho must be at Master Level, Kido must be at Expert Level
Consumption: Reiatsu decrease by 50 points per post use
Technique Range: Short Range (0 – 5 Meters)
Technique Description: An ability which nullifies an opponent’s Kido by hitting it with another one perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent’s movements, allowing for a follow-up attack.

██████████████████████████████Ido (Transference):

Description: The art of Transference is never easily taught or learned with mastery coming only after years of practice and experience, and even then the method in which it can be used in battle or in everyday situations varies between individuals. Hakuda is a close ranged combat style where one uses their body solely to inflict damage. However, instead of utilizing simple and more traditional forms of physical enhancement to improve one’s combat effectiveness in regards to Hakuda usage, those who train themselves in the use of Transference use a fulcrum-based transference skill alongside basic Hakuda training, which allows them to shift the point and force of impact by striking the exact center of an object. This allows them to transmit the force of impact where they so please, as long as a medium exists to transmit their power through. Once their power reaches a target its goal is to destroy the Saketsu and Hakusui at once destroying the target. When Ido is used the user’s body is engulfed in swirling dark matter of energy. Because of the fulcrum-based energy circling them anything that is outputting energy towards them is neutralized causing it to repel back towards its origin or away from the user. In terms of destructive force it cannot compare to Shunko but in terms of cancellation and negation of skills like Shunko or other energy based skills nothing compares to Ido.

Requirements:

[x] Character must be Male
[x] Character must have Shunpo as a trait.

Technique Name: Shinsei (Nova)
Requirements: Hakuda & Kido must be at Master Level
Consumption: Reiatsu decrease by 25 points per post use
Technique Range: Short Range (0 – 5 Meters)
Technique Description: Shinsei is a double edge sword so to speak, as it only takes a single strike to destroy a target, but what is important is the connection between the user and the strike. When this technique strike targets that are not living such as rocks or buildings it doesn’t give off any negative qualities after the object shatters into oblivion, but when the user strikes a living target it connects their Saketsu and Hakusui allowing them to be as if they were one being. This allows the Ido user and the target to simultaneously perform the same actions that the Ido user wishes.
