Cerberus spent a great many afternoons wandering about the meadow in search of herla to be his fans, so that he could prove his greatness to the world (and to that b*tch Juni who was constantly telling him otherwise). This afternoon was no different as the hart sauntered through a rather dense patch of forest with a skip in his step. He belted out a melody as he walked, a tune his guardian had taken to talking about rather than trying to convince him that he should go spend time with his children or which he was sure he had none.
"Their voices were soft, and their words inviting!"
Much to the mountain hart's displeasure, the song chosen by his guardian was intended to be sung by a female with a much higher pitch than himself, but still he endeavored on. Just because it wouldn't be exactly right was no excuse not to push himself. If he increased his range to exceed Juniper's there was no way she'd be able to make any complaint about his voice. Although, the fact that he was still choosing from guardian songs rather than writing his own was still an issue, but the idea of writing lyrical poetry seemed too feminine for someone as "cool" as Cerberus Sweet. Any attempts made ended in him scratching the ideas out in the dirt out of embarrassment. Instead he was quite content to sing what his guardian knew, forgetting all about the idea of composing something himself until he happened to bump into Juniper again. This was somewhat of a frequent problem for the hart and he'd made the occasional wish that he had never bumped into her at all and had just struggled with music on his own, rather than be taught by some woman who just wanted him because he looked like his father.
"There was a time when love was blind! And the world was a song, and the song was exciting!" Cerberus didn't understand love, but he was certain his multitude of fans must feel it towards him.

For most of the day Eilir had sat, and she was quite content in this. After all, it gave her a chance to throw the bones at her leisure, study them and draw conclusions in her own time. That was of course if there were no stories that drew their own breath into her minds eye. She had been asked once or twice about how her unique little gift worked, but she could never really give a distinct answer. The Bone Princess didn't quite know how it worked herself. And it was something she had stumbled upon completely by accident. And so much of her morning passed her by as she sat throwing the bones, reading and throwing. Reading and throwing and coming up wit the same results more often than not. She was to have a visitor.
"It is a four legged creature." She hissed to herself as she drew about her circle in the earth. "But what are these other bits here? I have never seen such a strange formation..." She stared at her casting with a fever in her eyes before those ice cold eyes closed. For several moments she sat with her eyes closed, desperately trying to conjure an image into her mind, trying to pull the story from the bones, yet nothing came.
Just as she was about to give up, about to open her eyes and recast her bones, a sound drifted to her ears. Softly they twitched and she stood up straight and still. Eilir listened intently, she could scarcely make out the words but the hum of a melody flowed quite clearly. Her attention pulled away from it just briefly enough to collect her bones into their bag and she started on her way toward the sound. As she walked it became closer and closer... until she had found it.
The hind stood completely statuesque, as she studied the hart before her. He didn't seem as if he had come from a proper family, not with his appearance and walk being the way it was. It would be alright then, she thought, to use a more common tone with him. Such as the one she would use with her sister and father.
"I've not heard someone with such a unique voice before." She called out to him. "And that song... it's rather lovely."

Cerberus managed to belt out a few more stanzas before a striking red hind came into view. He smiled, quieting for a moment as he looked her over. Quirking an eyebrow, he let out a low whistle and smiled. She'd make a fine groupie. He could just imagine the look on Juni's face when he saw what beauties he was capable of acquiring. Thoroughly enjoying his thoughts, a smirk came across the hart's face until it was brought to his attention that he should address the lovely creature and the complement she had bestowed upon him.
Puffing out his chest and straightening up, Cerberus Sweet looked at her through his curtain of messy hair with a smile as he responded. "Why thank you. I'd like to be the f*cking best at it, but i still need some god damned work." He shrugged, rolling his shoulders. That was the closest to humble he could possibly get. "It's an old guardian song, I think it's traditionally sung by b*tches though."
With a snort he stepped beside her and bowed his head, trying to appear as cool and charming as was possible for him. He had to win this hind over if he wanted to lord it over Juniper. "I'm Cerberus Sweet and may i ask what the name of such a fine looking b*tch is?"

((OOC: I have her attempting to headbutt him in the bottom paragraph. Its entirely up to you if she connects or not, but I couldn't resist. She insisted. <33 ))
She eyed him critically. What was that whistling noise about? Was he perhaps confused? He might have been able to hold a melody, but he was no mocking bird. His range would be a little more impressive if he were. Perhaps he was wishing. Her brows rose and she stared at him, a bemused look upon her features.
It was just as she had thought from her first sight of him. He was crass and entirely lacking any semblance of a gentlehart. Which was fine by her. Her father was possibly the farthest thing from a gentlehart as she had met in her life, so it wasn't such a shock to her to meet others that were much the same. He was also quite arrogant. Which was amusing to watch. It appeared to her that he thought he was quite the catch and perfect in every way. Eilir resisted the urge to laugh. "Well, at least you're smart enough to realize your... short comings." She commented in a nonchalant way as she tossed her hair from her face. Bitches? She vaguely remembered a conversation with her father. It was a word that was often used as an insult toward hinds. She allowed it to slide for the moment, as it had nothing to do with her directly. "Is that so? Do you often sing songs that I meant for girls?"
"Cerberus Sweet." Eilir repeated his name and smiled at him in a beguiling way, her brilliant ice colored eyes flashed coldly. "Do you always use such crude language when addressing a hind?" If there was one thing that she had learned from her father, it was respect. Respect for him and her mother, respect for others and respect for herself. The large hart had taught her that no matter what, his sweet baby girl was not to let anyone disrespect her; not a single soul on this planet. "My name is Eilir," She brought herself to his eye level and her face twisted into a cruel smile. "and not a damn hart ever talks to me like that." The bone princess slammed her head forward with as much force as she could muster as she attempted to give him one hell of a headache.

Cerberus looked rather smug as she spoke, commenting on his intelligence and song choices. "I suppose it's a good thing to already not be the best. If i was already the god damn best then i would have nothing to aspire to." He flashed a grin, "I don't ******** let who they were intended to be sung by interfere with what i sing. I sing what i kno-"
The hind's head connected with his skull and the hart stumbled back, briefly stunned. It took a moment for him to recollect himself, a ringing in his ears. But when he did, he certainly wasn't pleased. "Ow! What the ******** do you think you're doing?! a*****e! Do you know who i am, b***h?" He shook his head, vision blurred for a moment by the tears that had formed in his eyes from the pain. "You got a problem with how i talk? Too damn bad. I'll talk to a b***h like you however i ******** want and you'll be lucky if i don't return that little gavor you just granted me." He snarled and reared up for a moment to go along with his threat.

(( So arrogant. -Pokes around reply - Not sure if this is the best I could come up with... =/))
"Yeah, yeah. You're Cerberus Sweet, self proclaimed, wanna be, God of Rock." Eilir shook her head rapidly in an attempt to remove her own brief discomfort. It was much easier to take when you had been expecting it and so it was a little bit easier for her to recover than if she hadn't been expecting it. "Keep talkin' pretty boy." She rolled her icy blue eyes toward the top of her skull. "It's what got you into this situation in the first place." She snorted and tossed her head, brandishing her horns threateningly, but took a back step to avoid being squished up on his landing.
"As I see it, you have two options. Option one: you revise your language toward me, treat me with a little respect and I'll treat you in kind." The small hind smirked, her wings tucked firmly against her sides as she braced herself. That was another thing that she had learned from many sparring sessions with her father and sister; always tuck your wings in, because it hurts like hell to have them used against you. Asura had once bitten her wing just as she had knocked her off her hooves and both had gone tumbling down. She had felt bruised for a good week after that. "Or option two: we dance and kick your rump so hard your grandfawns will feel it." Her tail twitched behind her and Eilir found it very hard to keep that s**t eating grin off her face. "Up to you, but I would hate to destroy your chances of becoming the best by crippling you for life."
