His mane over his eyes again Sterling was having a hard time seeing where he was going. He shook his head to clear his sight only to have those sparkles get in the way. It was still surprising to him that he had his mother’s strange sparkles. It was really something he felt was particularly manly and it embarrassed him to no end. Still it didn’t matter what he looked like, at least that’s what he kept telling himself. He wanted to be a strong sturdy soul like his father so that everyone would be able to look past his rather glamorous appearance to the one below. He didn’t know if he was really qualified to be a knight but he wanted to be. That’s why he was headed to the city for a change. He wanted to find an instructor in the city who would allow him to train under them until he was able to join the guard at the edge of the neutral lands. His hooves made small crunching noises occasionally as he stepped on the stones that marked the edge of the road. He found that with his mane in the way all the time traveling along the edge of the road was easier than shaking his head all the time to try and see.
