Kamokito and Aonani flew from their safe herd in the mountains to scout out the area surrounding them. Something wasn't right in the world - all of the herd members felt it, but no one knew what was going on. Their ability to shrink themselves down from being flutters set them as prime candidates for the scouting mission. Crisanto had wanted to go, but Kanani had reminded him that his place was with the herd, protecting them.
They started off by checking the Cursed Graveyard and Eastern Swamp, but found nothing out of the ordinary there. Feeling even more spooked than before, they made their way back up to the forests to either side of Big Oak Grove.

Cadius was victorious. The stallion had managed to push back the invaders and in the end it was only he who stood alone. But the fight was not without consequences, if the large gash across Cadius's left hind leg was anything to go by. Limping away from the battle was a chore in itself. Exhausted from the fight and the wound, Cadius paused a moment to rest. On the edge of the large forest, the male waited.

Aonani thought he saw something, or someone just at the edge of the forest. "Kito, look over there!" he whispered, not wanting to alert whatever it was to their presence. Kito saw what Nani was talking about and nodded. They flitted through the trees in their small forms, careful not to be seen or heard. When they got closer, Nani noticed that it was a Soquili - and it looked like it was hurting pretty badly. Nani gave Kito a questioning glance, to see what he wanted to do. Kito on the other hand, was already flying closer to the Soquili, and growing as he went. Apparently he wanted them to meet.
Not wanting to creep up on the stranger, Kito cleared his throat loudly, and said, "Hello there! Are you alright?"
